Gwen Stefani And Gavin Rossdale In Bitter Custody Battle — He Wants His Boys Off Blake Shelton’s Oklahoma Ranch

Gwen Stefani’s divorce with Gavin Rossdale is starting to get nasty.

While Stefani’s relationship with Blake Shelton is stronger than ever, her ex is threatening a prolonged custody battle.

According to Hollywood Life, Rossdale is unhappy with Shelton’s involvement with his sons, especially their trips to Oklahoma.

Rossdale is willing to take his fight to court in order to prevent his children from visiting Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma. This would result in a custody battle that could last months and could prevent them from finalizing their divorce.

As it currently stands, Stefani and Rossdale don’t have a set custody agreement that includes legal and physical limits.

Stefani has a right to take her kids to Oklahoma whenever she wants, and unless Rossdale goes to court, he can’t do anything about it.

Stefani and Rossdale have three sons together, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 7, and Apollo, 2, all of whom love going out to Shelton’s property in Oklahoma.

Rossdale is concerned that his kids aren’t being properly watched when they go to Shelton’s ranch.

“He’s concerned because the boys seem to be picking up bad habits,” an insider shared. “He’s complained that the boys are going to bed with no baths, staying up late and eating junk food.”

Apart from his reservations about Shelton, Rossdale is happy with the current custody arrangement.

“Gavin knows going to court would be a huge gamble, and Gwen hasn’t deprived him of custodial time [in] the agreement,” the insider added. “But he wants to have a say about when and where the kids go when he isn’t with them.”

Meanwhile, a lengthy custody battle comes at a bad time for Gwen Stefani, who is currently gearing up for her summer tour.

It also might create undue stress on her relationship with the country crooner.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Stefani is already starting to worry about spending time away from Shelton during her tour.

“Gwen is worried about the idea of spending time apart,” a source explained. “She’s afraid it’s going to blow up their romance.”

Stefani still has trust issues after splitting up with Rossdale, who was reportedly unfaithful with Mindy Mann, their kid’s nanny.

In order to solve her trust issues, Stefani wants Shelton to join her on tour.

Not only would this allow Stefani to keep an eye on her boyfriend, but it would also help sell tickets.

“At this point in their careers, Blake is bigger than Gwen,” the insider said. “The idea that he could show up to perform their duet would be very attractive to fans.”

Unfortunately, Shelton isn’t keen on traveling around the country with Stefani. After all, he has his own concerts lined up and is plenty busy with other things.

“Blake loves Gwen but doesn’t want to be her sidekick for two months,” the insider added.

That being said, these reports have not been confirmed by Stefani or her reps.

Instead, International Business Times is reporting that Stefani has zero trust issues with Shelton. Further, her relationship with Shelton is better than ever and they are both looking forward to their summer events.

Of course, that doesn’t mean Shelton will stay away from Stefani’s concerts in the coming months. There is a possibility that Shelton will join Stefani on stage and sing their hit duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”

Speaking of their musical bond, Shelton discussed his romance with the “Misery” singer and admitted that she has become his closest friend.

“I was spending some time with Gwen all of a sudden, and she became my closest ally, my friend, my person in my life who had my back, and I had hers,” he stated. “And [I] created this bond with somebody that I would never have thought in a million years.”
