Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively Get Married In Secret South Carolina Ceremony
Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively are now a married couple according to multiple media reports.
People.com reports that “the couple tied the knot Sunday night at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of Charleston.”
USA Today adds that:
The reception took place in a white tent at the plantation on Sunday evening. Florence Welch (of Florence and the Machine), a good friend of the Gossip Girl star, performed three songs live, and there was also a deejay who spun tunes.
According to E!Online,
A source tells E! News that the guests included close friends only, but also some Hollywood types, including Blake’s manager.
News of the marriage was apparently first broken by local Charleston radio station 95.1 FM that tweeted last night that “Hold up, there’s another story that it’s Ryan Reynolds and he married Blake Lively at the Cotton Docks today!”
One of the radio station’s staffers told E!Online that Boone Plantation posted signs yesterday about a private event and that rumors began swirling that a celebrity wedding was going to happen.
I am being told there were around 60 people at the event and that a local restaurant may have catered it. Ryan has always loved it here and when he got together with Blake, he started to bring her here, too.
Reynolds and Lively had been dating for about a year after meeting during the filming of Green Lantern.
The couple already own a home in Bedford, New York, outside of New York City, and also spend time in Reynold’s home town of Vancouver, British Columbia.
Reynolds, 35, was previously married to actress Scarlett Johansson for two years.
Do you think that Reynolds and Lively are in it for the long haul or will their marriage go the way of many other Hollywood relationships?
