Heather Dubrow Sad To Hear Terry’s Honest Thoughts About Their Children On ‘RHOC’
Heather Dubrow decided to focus on her family for this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, as she packed her bags and traveled to Turks and Caicos for a family getaway. But before that happened, the drama from the Real Housewives of Orange County premiere had to be settled.
During Heather’s party, Vicki Gunvalson decided to take her aside to apologize for what had happened last year. Dubrow has been very vocal about what she wants from Vicki: an acknowledgement that she knew something was going on and an apology for what she put the ladies through.
According to a new Bravo report, Heather Dubrow is now revealing that she didn’t expect Vicki to talk to her during the yacht party, especially since there had been so much bad blood between Gunvalson and the ladies. But Heather was willing to listen to what the veteran housewife had to say.
“Vicki took me aside to chat on the boat. I wasn’t expecting this — but basically, I want her to take accountability for her part of the scam of last year. I don’t blame her for Brooks’ actions — just her involvement. Clearly she’s not going to own any of it. She said last year at the reunion that she lied and then she took it back and said she had no involvement. It’s exhausting,” Heather Dubrow revealed, sharing that she didn’t feel that she had any closure with her co-star.
But Dubrow can move on and ignore everything that happened last year, as she’s not personally affected by it so much. In fact, Heather Dubrow didn’t even bring it up while on vacation with her family, where her husband, Terry, could relax and unwind. The two had some interesting conversations, where Terry reminded her that he would slow down with work to spend more time with his family. He kept saying how he really needed that family vacation, but in his confessional interview, he said that he didn’t feel guilty for skipping out on family time. He only felt guilty because he didn’t feel guilty.
“I was sad to hear Terry say he doesn’t feel guilty about spending more time with the kids. I love that he’s having the time of his life and he’s fulfilled professionally and creatively — but I’m worried that he will realize down the road how much he’s missed with them and have regrets,” Heather Dubrow points out, sharing that she was sad to learn that her husband seems to enjoy working so much more than spending time with his children.
But Heather Dubrow could look at the other fun aspects of the vacation, sharing that she enjoyed it when they were all making fun of him.
“I thought it was funny when everyone was teasing Terry, obviously it’s all in fun! He seemed a little “hangry.” Maybe next time not too close to dinner time! Or maybe it’s that he can dish it out but can’t take it himself! Haha!” Heather points out.
According to Bravo, Heather Dubrow recently opened up about her marriage and about how The Real Housewives of Orange County has changed their marriage. Dubrow explained that they never used to fight until they started filming the show together. While she was uncomfortable in front of the cameras, he felt it was fun and kept making fun of her and pushing her buttons. Dubrow added that she had learned to live with the cameras and loosen up a bit, which helped her film the show.
What do you think of Heather Dubrow’s comments about Terry not feeling guilty about working so much? Do you think it’s sad that he’s so addicted to working?
