Now that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have split, everyone can’t wait to find out who the next person is that he will be dating. The rumors are flying that Selena Gomez wants to date him, but this is kind of odd considering she is really good friends with Swift. Hollywood Life shared about the rumors flying that Selena is looking into dating her friend’s ex. This could get interesting.
Selena Gomez allegedly said that she thinks she would be a perfect match for him. A source went on to share details.
“She always thought Taylor just wasn’t right for him and the breakup confirmed that in her mind. She says she and Calvin would make a better couple … Selena has always had her eye on Calvin.”
The thing is this could not matter at all because Selena Gomez doesn’t seem to be his type at all. It turns out that a source shared that Harris is wanting to date a normal girl now and doesn’t want anything to do with dating another celebrity. If he was in a relationship with Selena Gomez, it would be in the public eye every single day. This would put him right back into the same kind of relationship he just left. Gomez may try to stay private, but that is pretty much impossible for her.

A source also shared that Selena Gomez may not even act on her desires because of Swift. The source said, “Selena doesn’t want to lose her best friend. Taylor hears what Selena’s been thinking, Sel will “just try to laugh it off” to protect her relationship with Tay. That’s probably for the best!” Of course, Swift will hear now that it is out in the media. Hopefully, these two can laugh it off like it isn’t a big deal.
