Robby Hayes Is The Darkhorse That No One Saw Coming On ‘The Bachelorette,’ But Will His Lies Break JoJo Fletcher’s Heart?

Rodgers has been the clear front-runner for JoJo Fletcher’s final rose, but Robby Hayes is quickly gaining ground. Will he win Fletcher’s heart or break it?

Reality TV World is reporting that Chris Harrison believes that Hayes has a good shot at winning it all.

In the latest episode of The Bachelorette, Rodgers and Hayes got their chance for some alone time with Fletcher. The reality star took both men on one-on-one dates in different countries, starting with Rodgers.

“Jordan got the first one-on-one date. After getting the First Impression Rose, he had really been waiting a long time to get that quality time with JoJo,” Harrison explained in his Yahoo TV blog. “The date to the island of the seals was out of this world… You can see they have an undeniable chemistry.”

Fans watched as Fletcher then confronted Rodgers about his former girlfriends.

Fletcher was aware that Brittany Farrar, Rodgers’ ex-girlfriend, accused him of cheating on her. To clear the air, Fletcher questioned Rodgers about Farrar and why their relationship didn’t work out.

In response, Rodgers admitted to his own shortcomings but refused to say that he cheated on her.

In the end, Fletcher approved of how Rodgers opened up.

“Communication is key to all relationships and Jordan and JoJo have a head start on honesty and openness,” Harrison wrote.

Although everything turned out well between Rodgers and Fletcher, her date with Hayes went even smoother.

In fact, Robby Hayes took it up a notch and was the first contestant to tell Fletcher that he loved her.

“It may seem fast, but their connection was instantaneous and Robby, as evidenced by his story about his best friend, lives life to the fullest and goes after every moment,” Harrison shared. “Their relationship is easy, and it’s clear that Robby is a frontrunner that nobody saw coming. JoJo always says she needs words of affirmation and Robby definitely has no problem providing them.”

Hayes definitely solidified his spot next to Rodgers. However, is he the one who breaks Fletcher’s heart in the Bachelorette finale?

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, a preview for the finale revealed that Fletcher’s runner-up lied to her and ultimately ruined his chances of getting her final rose.

“I fell in love with you and I still love,” Fletcher tells the runner-up. “But what you did to me, it’s not right. But I wanted you to know. It’s really hard for me to not accept this love.”

Like Rodgers, Hayes has a questionable relationship past.

Hayes dated Hope Higgenbotham before his time on The Bachelorette. Allegedly, Hayes dumped Higgenbotham in order to land a spot on the show. They were together for four years.

To matter worse, Fletcher is expected to ask Hayes about his former girlfriend in a coming episode. If Hayes lies to her, then he could be the mystery man in the trailer.

At the same time, Chad Johnson may have confirmed the rumors surrounding Hayes’ ex-girlfriend.

According to Us Magazine, Johnson recently posted a picture of himself with Higginbotham on Instagram.

“While traveling this weekend, our paths crossed and I finally had the opportunity to meet Hope Higginbotham in person,” Johnson wrote. “Let me just say, she is even more beautiful in person! A great girl like her deserves so much better than someone who lies, cheats, and ends a four-year long relationship in order to pursue fame on a TV show. You’re amazing, I miss you already.”

Meanwhile, Carter Matt is reporting that the next installment of The Bachelorette will feature the contestants fighting it out over a game of soccer.

Rodgers, Hayes, James Taylor, Luke Pell, and Alex Woytkiw try to make a goal in exchange for a smooch with Fletcher. Apparently, Hayes tries to bribe the goalie, but Taylor is the one who makes the kick.

Fans can watch the drama unfold when new episodes of The Bachelorette air Monday nights on ABC.
