Jonah Hill Ends Relationship With Girlfriend Ali Hoffman [Report]

Actor Jonah Hill and his girlfriend of nine months, Ali Hoffman, have reportedly decided to call it quits.

According to US Weekly, Hill began dating Hoffman — the daughter of actor Dustin Hoffman — in January, sometime after he joined her family in Hawaii for the holidays last Christmas.

Though Hill is usually tight-lipped about his relationships, Howard Stern got the Moneyball star to open up about his feelings for Ali back in March.

“She’s [expletive] incredible,” he told the shock jock on his radio show at the time, after being pressed to admit he and Dustin’s daughter were an item. “She’s the greatest person I know…. Dude, I’m happy.”

Jonah, 28, and Ali, 24, apparently knew each other for years prior to dating as Hill was friends with Ali’s brother while the two attended high school together.

Dustin Hofmann also reportedly aided Hill’s entertainment career early on by helping the young star land his first movie role in I Heart Huckabees.

Jonah has previously talked about how close he is to Dustin, saying:

”Dustin is the one who encouraged me to be an actor. I knew him through his kids. They went to college with me and high school.”

Prior to his nine-month stint with Ali Hoffman, Hill dated high school pal Jordan Klein for several years; the pair ended their longterm relationship in October 2011.

The news Hill’s breakup with Hoffman comes just one day after Hollywood fans were crushed to learn that Amy Poehler and Will Arnett were separating after nine years marriage.
