Bobbi Kristina’s Death: Nick Gordon Describes His Attempts To Save Both Bobbi And Whitney’s Lives
Nick Gordon finally breaks his silence in a tell-all interview with Sun about his desperate attempts to save the lives of both his former partner, Bobbi Kristina, and her mother, Whitney Houston, as reported by the Mirror.
Whitney Houston, 48, and her daughter Bobbi Kristina, 22, both died of eerily similar circumstances just three years apart. Both passed away after being found intoxicated in the bathroom. Even more strange is the fact that Nick Gordon was present in both occasions.
Gordon said that Bobbi Kristina became terrified of bathing since her mother died.
“She [Bobbi Kristina] was too terrified to bathe alone after Whitney passed, we both were. It’s why this is so messed up,” Nick said. “It was the hardest and saddest thing I have ever done.”
In January 2015, Gordon found Bobbi Kristina face down on the bath tub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. He then performed CPR on her before paramedics arrived. Bobbi would spend the next six months in a coma until she died on July 26. After the autopsy results came out, it became public knowledge that a lethal combination of marijuana, booze, and anxiety drugs led to her drowning.

These findings corroborate Nick’s statements during his interview with Phil McGraw on Dr. Phil, where he revealed in great detail how Bobbi’s drug use turned for the worse following Whitney Houston’s death.
“… got really bad … It’s unfortunate, but at the time that’s kind of the only way that we knew how to deal with what had happened,” he said.
Nick revealed that Bobbi Brown indulged in “pain pills and smoking” immediately after her mom passed away.
“The days where she was really thinking about it, she would go get something to numb the pain that she was feeling,” Nick added.
Nick also claimed to have been present on the night Whitney Houston died in 2002. He admitted to having attempted to push on her chest after he found her unconscious in the bath. By then, it was already too late and there’s nothing he could have done to save her life, he claimed.
Gordon said that he was the one who broke the news of her mother’s death to Bobbi, who was so distraught she had to be taken to the hospital.
Gordon then described how both he and Bobbi Kristina took drugs together since then, causing both their lives to take a nosedive. Nick described how Bobbi started to experience anxiety attacks. Amid all these, his relationship with Bobbi started to develop.
Bobbi’s father Bobby Brown, who hinted numerous times that he blames Gordon for what happened to Whitney and their daughter, banned Bobbi’s former partner from visiting his daughter at the hospital, and subsequently, at her funeral.
In an interview with ABC’s 20/20, Brown made it known that he blames Nick for what happened to his former wife and daughter.
“It’s not a mystery to me. I know exactly what happened to my daughter. The same thing that happened to my daughter is what happened to Whitney,” Bobby said.
“There’s only one person that was around both occasions,” he added.
“You won’t say his name. Nick Gordon is who you’re referring to,” Brown replied.
Gordon’s lawyer, Jose Baez, responded to Brown’s allegations via an interview with People, claiming that his pronouncements are all “baseless speculation.”
“We have repeatedly said that Nick Gordon is innocent of any wrongdoing. He has not been charged with any crime,” Baez said. “Enough is enough; let’s end this baseless speculation.”
Bobby Brown, 47, was married to Whitney Houston in 1992. The marriage ended in 2007 when Houston filed for divorce and was granted custody of then-14-year-old Bobbi.
