It was a memorable Saturday night for Song Joong-ki’s fans in Taiwan.
Thousands of K-drama fans gathered at National Taiwan University Sports Center to catch a glimpse of the South Korean actor who stole the show in the recently concluded Descendants of the Sun, or DOTS, as the fans fondly call it.
At the Taiwan Fan Meet, Song Joong-ki sported an all-denim look with a red neck scarf.

Strapping on a pair of roller skates, the Descendants of the Sun actor Song Joong-ki glided on the stage, thus evoking a thunderous applause from his fans. Of course, he took a fan’s help to make sure he doesn’t slip and fall on the massive stage.
“I dreamed of being a professional skater once. I wanted to be a Korean Olympic skater, but I wasn’t good enough so I quit,” he said, according to a report by All KPop.
Song Joong-ki wants to act with Song Hye-kyo once more
As always, the fans posed a lot of questions for Song Joong-ki. When asked if he would like to act with his Descendants of the Sun co-star Song Hye-kyo after 30 years, Song Joong-ki said he would love to. “If Song Hye Kyo says it’s okay, I’d like to,” he said.
“I want to do amazing roles fit for my age in 30 years. I’m sure I’ll be less popular and have less offers then, but I think I’ll be able to do act well for my age at the time,” he said.
Just like his character Yoo Si-jin in Descendants of the Sun, Song Joong-ki was funny, humorous, and greeted his fans with warmth.

The onscreen chemistry between Song Joong-ki and his Descendants of the Sun co-star Song Hye-kyo has driven the fans berserk that the DOTS loyalists want the couple to get together in real life too.
This famous couple rocked the social media, giving birth to a new hashtag #SongSongCouple. This hashtag has been trending for a very long time on sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
Although actress Song Hye-kyo was spotted several times hanging out with her charming co-star, the couple has always denied speculations of real-life romantic involvement with Song Joong-ki.
Descendants of the Sun actor Song Joong-ki seems to be stealing hearts across Asia. In fact, the Korean TV show has created a new breed of fashionistas, who have been sporting DOTS-branded T-shirts and mobile casings ever since the series started gaining momentum in March.

The craze for Descendants of the Sun star was also visibly evident during his recent fan meet in Chengdu and Thailand.
In his upcoming movie Battleship Island, Song Joong-ki will play the role of freedom fighter Park Moo Young, who infiltrates the island in order to rescue important figures of the independence movement against imperial Japan.
Song Joong-ki revealed that he will undergo a shocking transformation for his role for his next project Battleship Island, a historical action movie.
For Song Joong-ki’s Battleship Island, the actor said he is carrying out a meal plan and currently undergoing additional training sessions, in an effort to appear more masculine and mature. He is also expected to shave his hair bald, according to a report by Yibada.
“These days I’m going on a diet to make (my body shape) fit the character,” Song was quoted as saying in a report by Hong Kong newspaper Sing Tao Daily, according to The Kpop Herald.
Song Joong-ki’s Battleship Island is set to release next year, according to Yibada.
