Vicki Gunvalson Lied: ‘RHOC’ Star Still Talking To Brooks Ayers And Wants Him Back

Is Vicki Gunvalson lying about Brooks Ayers?

Gunvalson has assured fans that her relationship with Ayers is over. However, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that isn’t the case.

The Real Housewives of Orange County star recently appeared on Watch What Happens Live and told Andy Cohen that she no longer talks with Ayers. Gunvalson also admitted that she even block his phone calls in an effort to move on.

An inside source, however, has revealed that Gunvalson is not being truthful.

Apparently, Gunvalson and Ayers spoke to each other just last week. Furthermore, the former couple speaks on a regular basis, even up to a few times every week.

Unfortunately, it isn’t known what Gunvalson and Ayers talk about. She has made it clear that she wants Ayers back in her life, despite everything he put her through last season.

Ayers was caught in a huge cancer scandal last year on RHOC. After Ayers was caught forging medical documents to prove he had cancer, he and Gunvalson parted ways.

To make matters worse, the insider also revealed that it was actually Gunvalson’s idea to promote Ayers cancer on the show. While Ayers wanted to keep his cancer diagnosis a secret, Gunvalson thought it would be good for the show.

“Vicki told Brooks it would make her daughter and the other women more sympathetic to him, nicer to him, so she went against his requests and brought it up anyway,” the insider explained.

Vicki Gunvalson was allegedly the driving force behind it all. In fact, Gunvalson supposedly pressured Ayers to the point where he felt the need to fabricate the documents. Ayers forged the medical records because he didn’t want any personal information aired on television

That being said, Reality Tea reports that Gunvalson has distanced herself from Ayers and the cancer scandal.

In her latest blog on Bravo, the reality star reassured fans that she had nothing to do with Ayers’ lies.

Gunvalson referenced a statement Ayers issued in March that excused her from any wrongdoing in the controversy.

Despite all the hoopla surrounding Gunvalson and Ayers, she told Entertainment Tonight that she never wanted him to leave.

“We have unfinished business. I did not want him to leave me,” she explained. “Anybody I’ve been with, I will always love. I always will care for and love Brooks, regardless of what he did and why he did it, I will never know … I know I didn’t lie for him, and I know there’s a lot of questions I’ll never get answered, but I love him.”

Meanwhile, Gunvalson has a new man in her life. According to E! Online, the RHOC star is currently dating Steve Lodge.

Although Lodge is not familiar with Gunvalson’s life in reality TV, she came clean about all the drama with Ayers.

“I told him everything,” she told Cohen. “[Briana] loves him.”

Fans probably won’t see much of Lodge on the new season of RHOC because the majority of it was filmed before they got together. Instead, fans will watch Gunvalson living a single life.

Following her breakup with Ayers, People is reporting that Gunvalson lost over 20 pounds and had a difficult time adjusting.

“You know what, I was at such a depressed state,” Gunvalson shared. “I’m 54 now, and your metabolism changes. I put on, like, 10 lbs. from my 40s to my 50s, and I never felt strong.”

Gunvalson achieved her body transformation by cutting her calories down to 500 per day and upping her exercise routine.

“I don’t want to be a bodybuilder,” she admitted. “I don’t want to do all that stuff, but I wanted to feel like, OK, I’m gonna be single now. I gotta look my best, right?”
