Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton: Are They Married Or On The Verge Of A Breakup?
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are either married already or about to break up, according to two conflicting reports. So is there any truth to either of the recent rumors about their relationship?
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been together for over half a year, and rumors about weddings and pregnancies have been debunked time and time again. Perhaps this is why In Touch Weekly recently tried to get creative by claiming that Gwen and Blake aren’t planning for their future; according to the print edition of the tabloid, the pop star and the country singer couldn’t overcome their dramatic differences and have decided to go their separate ways.
“After seven months, the honeymoon period is over for the No Doubt front woman and the country star. Gwen and Blake are starting to realize that they are very different people,” an unnamed source told In Touch, according to RumorFix.
According to this supposed insider, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton fully embraced the “opposites attract” theory early on in their relationship, but their attraction to each other eventually fizzled as the novelty of their dramatic differences wore off.
“The things they were most attracted to in each other have now become issues between them. They’re on the rocks,” the tabloid source revealed.
However, RumorFix reports that this claim is a complete fabrication; an insider who is actually close to the couple has revealed that the rumor of a possible Gwen and Blake breakup is “absolutely untrue.”
As Entertainment Tonight reports, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton provided plenty of evidence that there was no trouble in paradise last weekend when they celebrated Blake’s 40th birthday. Gwen accompanied Blake when he headed to the Country Jam 2016 music festival in Grand Junction, Colorado to perform a few of his songs, and she helped her boyfriend mark his big milestone by decorating his private plane and presenting him with a guitar-shaped birthday cake. As People reports, Gwen Stefani also joined her “superbabe” onstage at Country Jam to perform their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”
While it’s true that that Gwen and Blake are happier than ever, is it possible that the couple is already married? The Inquisitr previously reported that Gwen Stefani’s tweets about a “honeymoon” were actually a reference to the celestial body in the sky, not a post-wedding vacation. However, OK! Magazine claims that Gwen and Blake are long past the honeymoon phase of their relationship. According to the tabloid, they wed in secret weeks ago. OK! wants Shefani fans to believe that Gwen and Blake somehow managed to sneak a small group of A-listers to their intimate ceremony, including Jessica Alba, Adam Levine, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Pharrell Williams. OK! also claims that Gwen and Blake’s event was a shotgun wedding; according to the tabloid, Gwen is pregnant with her first daughter.
OK! alleges that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton got married at Blake’s Oklahoma property back in March, and Gwen did provide plenty of Snapchat evidence that she and her sons were there during their spring break. However, according to Gossip Cop, Gwen and Blake still have not tied the knot. Reps for both celebrities said that there is no truth to any of the reports that they are married or expecting a child together.
As People reports, Gwen Stefani has also denied rumors that she and Blake Shelton are engaged. During an interview with 94.7 Fresh FM’s “The Tommy Show,” the singer seemed to suggest that she and Blake are both too busy with their careers to consider settling down right now.
“Let’s just take it one day at a time,” Stefani said when asked whether Blake has popped the question. “Everything’s crazy right now so no, absolutely not.”
It’s obvious that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are happy together, but Shefani fans might need to learn to be patient when it comes to the possibility of the singers walking down the aisle; according to People, Gwen dated her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, for six years before they tied the knot.
