Watch Wales Vs. Northern Ireland 2016 UEFA Euro Live Stream: Round Of 16 Eliminator Pits Great Britain Rivals Head-To-Head
The country of Wales on Thursday voted to leave the European Union. Northern Ireland voted to stay in. But the two countries will be fighting desperately to stay in Europe Saturday as they face each other in a 2016 UEFA European Championship Round of 16 match that will stream live. The winner will advance to the quarterfinals — three big wins away from the championship of Europe.
“The words of wisdom for the team are simple — find the game of your life tomorrow night. The game will have a bit of a cup-tie feel to it,” said Northern Ireland Coach Michael O’Neill. “We recognize the size of the task tomorrow night. I expect Wales are the favorites, but we played here three nights ago against the world champions and we won’t get a tougher game in the tournament.”
Northern Ireland lost to World Cup holders Germany in their final group stage game, but played a tenacious game and held the mighty Germany side to just a single goal.

The game will mark the first time since 1958 that either Wales or Northern Ireland has advanced to the knockout stages of either the Euros or the World Cup — as well as the first time the two United Kingdom countries have faced each other in a single-elimination round.

With Northern Ireland likely to play a deep defensive line in an attempt to neutralize Bale, McGovern appears certain to face a heavy test on Saturday.
