Robert Pattinson Slams ‘Twilight’ Love Kristen Stewart Reunion Rumors, Gushes About FKA Twigs

Robert Pattinson is clearing the air about his engagement with FKA Twigs.

The Twilight star and British singer have faced numerous breakup rumors ever since they announced their engagement a year ago.

According to Parent Herald, Pattinson also faced reports of a potential reunion with Kristen Stewart, whom he dated while working on the Twilight series.

The fact that Twigs and Pattinson have yet to tie the knot has only made reports of an alleged breakup worse.

“She isn’t the girl for him,” an inside source explained. “She’s very jealous and he was sick of having to explain himself.”

Despite all the negative publicity, Movie News Guide is reporting that Pattinson’s relationship with Twigs is stronger than ever.

While they might not be the most vocal celebrity couple, they have expressed their love each other in public.

Following a round of allegations, for example, Twigs openly shared how fans can be “pretty horrible” about her romance with Pattinson.

Although being in the spotlight with Pattinson isn’t easy, Twigs admitted that their relationship is “amazing.” She also doesn’t put much stock into what people say about her.

Twigs and Pattinson started dating back in the summer of 2014 and announced their engagement in the spring of 2015.

According to Pop Sugar, there are other instances that prove Pattinson’s romance with Twigs is still alive and well.

When opening up about Twigs’ ability as a musician, Robert Pattinson said that she is “an amazing, amazing artist.”

For her part, Twigs recently shared how her relationship helps her through the tough times in life.

“I really enjoy the fun of putting something out and people liking it or hating it or talking about it, but vacuous attention, it feels disgusting. It’s like a hangover. It’s weird. I know that’s not really because of me or what I’m doing,” she explained. “[But] the positivity that I get from [my relationship] makes the more challenging aspects… very worth it.”

To dispel breakup rumors even further, Pattinson and Twigs recently attended their first Met Gala together in New York. Their relationship might be kept under wraps, but they are clearly still in love.

As far as a possible reunion with Stewart is concerned, the actress has moved on with her love life as well.

As previously reported by Inquisitr, Stewart’s relationship with Alicia Cargile is starting to get serious.

Stewart and Cargile have been through their ups and downs over the years, but the two spent Father’s Day together with Cargile’s family in California.

Based on photos from their family outing, Stewart and Cargile appeared like a happy couple.

Stewart started dating Cargile in 2015. The couple briefly ended their relationship and Stewart had a short fling with French singer Soko.

Ever since her breakup with Pattinson, Stewart has dated more women than men. In regards to her change in preference, Stewart opened up about coming to peace with sexuality.

“I understand anxiety. I definitely understand not being able to find balance between mind and body and having to struggle with that,” she shared. “But I feel pretty good in my own skin, luckily. It took some time, but I feel pretty good.”

With both Pattinson and Stewart happy with how things have turned out, it doesn’t appear likely that they will get back together anytime soon.

Of course, anything can happen. Until Pattinson and Twigs finally walk down the aisle, fans will continue to hold out hope that Pattinson will return to his former Twilight lover.

Pattinson and Twigs have not released any details concerning their upcoming wedding. At this time, it isn’t known when or where the two will officially exchange vows.
