Fredrik Eklund Not Invited To Ryan Serhant’s Greek Wedding

Fredrik Eklund filmed his island wedding to Derek Kaplan for Million Dollar Listing: New York, and it was a small wedding for family and friends. Eklund invited his investor friends, as he had developed friendships with them over the years. But his co-stars, Ryan Serhant and Luis D. Ortiz, were not invited to the wedding. It’s no secret that these three listing agents have plenty of things in common, but they may not be friends when the film crew isn’t around.

According to a new Bravo report, Fredrik Eklund is now revealing that he asked Ryan to not get an invite to his upcoming wedding in Greece. As it turns out, Eklund believes that his wedding should be a sacred moment and not one where the agents get together. When he stopped by Watch What Happens Live, Fredrik told Andy Cohen that he wasn’t invited to the wedding.

“I am not invited… I made it very clear from the very beginning, this was like a year ago when this started to be discussed, that I didn’t want to go because I think certain things are holy, like obviously a wedding,” Fredrik Eklund told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, adding, “And I don’t want to disturb that beautiful energy between the two of them with my presence ’cause it can get a little bit — you know, him and me [have a history], so it’s better… It’s a beautiful thing.”

As it turns out, Fredrik did get an invitation despite telling Ryan that he had no interest in coming to the wedding in Greece. And if Fredrik Eklund got an invite, one can imagine that Luis D. Ortiz also got an invite. Luis previously revealed that he was responsible for planning Ryan’s bachelor party, so it is possible that he will be a big part of the wedding.

Of course, Ryan Serhant and Emilia have been busy planning their wedding, and on last night’s episode of Million Dollar Listing: New York, Ryan told Emilia that they should get married in Greece. Ryan would join Fredrik Eklund, who also got married at a location far away from New York City.

Serhant recently opened up about his wedding, sharing some details about the wedding.

“We’re doing it in Greece. We’re doing it on an island, off an island, off an island. So we’re not having a lot of people there — it’s kind of a pain to get to. It’s going to be very, very pretty, and elaborate,” Ryan revealed about his wedding, adding, “It took us a year and a half to put it together. But like I told her after the proposal, ‘Listen, I’m only ever doing this once in my life. So we’re gonna do this once. It’s going to be awesome and you’re just gonna have to kill me ’cause I can’t afford to do this ever again.’ Same thing for the wedding. So it’ll be cool, it’ll be good.”

One can imagine that Fredrik Eklund would have loved to go to Greece, as he and Derek met one another while on vacation, possibly close to where Serhant and Emilia will get married. Since Fredrik and his co-star have a long history together, and not always a positive one, fans can imagine that Eklund just wants to hang out with him once he comes home so they can talk through their issues. Even though they did bond over their dislike for Luis D. Ortiz last season, it sounds like the alliances have shifted a little bit, especially since Fredrik Eklund hinted that Ryan was buying his social media followers.
