The Wedding March Movie Synopsis
Olivia Phillips is a beautiful single mother who runs her own home-staging business alongside her fiancé and partner, Josh Johnson, who is the real estate agent for the company. Olivia and Josh have decided to get married, and Olivia’s daughter, Grace, couldn’t be more excited. Part of preparing for her wedding is finding a venue for it, which she finds in a charming little inn located in Vermont.
When Josh and Olivia arrive at the inn, Olivia bumps into her college sweetheart, Mick, an aging musician who happens to own the inn and is the wedding singer for Olivia’s upcoming nuptials. Surprised and shocked, Olivia seems a bit annoyed that she has unwittingly hired her ex, but she decides to make it work. After all, the inn’s lush grounds are absolutely stunning.

For the first time, Josh and Mick get to meet each other, and Josh knows that Mick was the one who got away. But, Josh is always so busy with his job that it seems he doesn’t take the time to feel the passion and desire in his relationship with Olivia. Going through a range of emotions, Olivia realizes that being back in Mick’s company is making her feel alive again and making her return to a time when she was truly happy. Olivia and Mick had a whirlwind relationship back in college, but the relationship ended suddenly after Mick, who was an aspiring rock singer, had the chance to go on tour. By the time he returned, Olivia had moved on with her life, and they haven’t seen each other in 25 years.

Although Mick eventually married, he never forgot Olivia and regrets never having the chance to tell her how much he loved and needed her in his life. Now that he is a widow, he tries to win Olivia back through the songs and the music that brought them together all those years ago, leaving Olivia torn between moving forward with Josh or falling into the arms of the man she truly loves.
