Enstarz is reporting that Garner is leaning on her good friend, Michael Vartan, throughout her nasty divorce with Ben Affleck. Has their friendship turned to love?

“She’s always crying on Michael’s shoulder,” a source explained to Radar Online.

Vartan and Garner appeared together on the hit show, Alias. They also dated each other back in 2004.

For his part, Affleck is convinced that his ex-wife is dating Vartan.

“Ben thinks something is going on with her and Michael… But he doesn’t know if it’s just manipulative to piss him off or if it’s legit they would like to get back together.”

Apparently, Garner has been very secretive about her private life, going so far as keeping her phone close to her at all times.

Because of her secrecy, Affleck is unsure of her relationship with Vartan.

Vartan has yet to comment on the rumors, though he recently broke up with his wife, Lauren Skaar. To complicate things even further, Vartan admitted that he and Garner are still good friends.

“Jennifer and I were best friends first, during [our relationship] and after,” he revealed.

At this point, it’s too early to tell if Garner and Vartan are just friends or if they are romantically involved.

Garner and Affleck announced their divorce just last year after ten years together. Their marriage allegedly fell apart because of Affleck’s affair with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian.

Although Garner confirmed Affleck’s romance with the nanny, she revealed that their relationship happened after the split.

“Let me just tell you something,” Garner stated in a chat with Vanity Fair. “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives.”

That being said, Garner and Affleck have yet to finalize their divorce.

According to International Business Times, Affleck is avoiding the divorce in order to keep his fortune intact. Affleck’s wealth is estimated around $75 million, a good chunk of which would go to Jennifer Garner in a settlement.

While Affleck’s divorce continues to unfold, Deadline is reporting that the actor is staying busy with his newest project, Justice League.

The movie is still a year out from premiering in theaters, but Affleck surprised fans by sharing the film’s logo on Twitter.

Justice League stars Affleck as Batman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Jason Momoa as Aquaman.

When opening up about his next role as Batman, Affleck told IGN that the caped crusaders motivations are completely different this time around.

“Yeah, he’s [got] a little bit more sardonic humor, a little more irony. He’s a little more man on a mission this time,” Affleck revealed. “And now he’s on a mission to get this group together. To constitute this League. But more of his, that sort of Bruce Wayne, wry, ironic gallows humor comes out.”

While Batman v Superman was criticized for its storyline, Affleck is confident that the new Batman will sit better with fans.

“From the experiences of the last movie, he’s sort of learned and now he’s sort of … wanting to redeem himself and wanting mankind to be redeemed,” he shared. “and he’s wanting to make the world better having learned lessons that were important in the last movie.”

Justice League is set to open in theaters in 2017.
