‘Teen Mom 2’ Kailyn Lowry Has Negative Reaction To Lip Fillers

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry is certainly no stranger to cosmetic procedures. After having nearly a complete makeover of her body through cosmetic surgeries, it was one of her simplest procedures – the lip fillers – which went wrong. Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry has revealed via Daily Mail that attempting to plump up her lips with lip fillers did not go the way she had planned it to. In fact, fans immediately noticed something was different about Kailyn – again – when she appeared on part two of the reunion special of Teen Mom 2.

Kailyn Lowry addressed the questions Teen Mom 2 fans were having about her puffy lips via Twitter:

“Enough ‘fixing’ the flesh…now time to work on heart and soul,” one Twitter user said in response to Kailyn Lowry’s tweet about her lip fillers gone wrong.

“That’s not nice,” a second user replied to the comment above.

Kailyn responded to the two replies to her tweet on Twitter, “it’s pretty accurate lol.”

Another Twitter user told Kailyn she really needed to lay off the lip injections, “Lay off the lip injections! You look#ridiculous.”

Kailyn also responded to this negative comment with, “see previous tweets,” followed by an annoyed emoticon.

Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry appears to be making light of the situation and agreeing with her fans – or trolls depending on how you view the commenters responding to her tweet – that she does need to try working on her personality.

As Teen Mom fans may remember, Kailyn Lowry is not the first mom on the Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 television shows to have lip cosmetic surgery that went awry. Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham was actually denied treatment on an episode of Botched by Dr. Terry Dubrow and Dr. Paul Nassif when she wanted to have a permanent solution to lip fillers. Farrah was warned any more cosmetic surgery to her face could permanently damage it.

For Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif, it was hard to forget that the Teen Mom OG star had a negative allergic reaction to lip fillers. For this reason, most Teen Mom OG fans were not surprised to learn the mother had been banned from getting lip implants. Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif were also afraid Kailyn Lowry’s co-star would take to social media after she slammed her previous doctor for causing her lips to swell even though it wasn’t his fault.

Dr. Nassif told the cameras, “It appears that the doctor did nothing wrong. He did all the right treatment. He went to the hospital to see her, but Farrah got on her social media and boom. It was horrible.”

It was in January of 2015 that this Teen Mom OG star took to Twitter to share pictures of her swollen lips as her first attempt at having surgery went horribly wrong. Truthfully, her lips started to swell when she was injected with the numbing agent. She had a severe allergic reaction to the numbing agent before they even started the procedure to plump up her lips, Hollywood Life reports.

In January of this year, Kailyn turned to reality star-favored cosmetic doctor Michael Salzhauer – also known as Dr. Miami – for a “mommy makeover”. Kailyn even allowed the doctor to SnapChat the surgery. During the four-hour long surgery session, Lowry had a Brazilian butt lift, liposuction, a tummy tuck, and work done to her breasts as well.

Amid all of the cosmetic changes to her body, Kailyn Lowry has been going through a very emotional time as she and her husband Javi are getting a divorce and she recently miscarried what would have been her third child. During part two of the reunion special of Teen Mom 2, Javi revealed that he did not want to get a divorce with Kailyn, but there was no changing her mind. He also did apologize for not being with Lowry during the miscarriage and making it feel as though it was her fault she miscarried the baby.

Lowry did take to Twitter and make it clear that she did not believe having a child with Javi was enough of a reason to hold on to the marriage if she wasn’t happy being in it.
