‘The Walking Dead’ Season 6 Finale To Release More Footage This Summer
The Walking Dead Season 6 finale was something that fans have stewed over for months now. The fact that no one got to see who actually died last season has been both infuriating and amazing for The Walking Dead fans all over the world. But there is some good news on the horizon for those who want just a little more from that scene that first introduced the mega-villain, Negan.
When the Season 6 Blu-Ray and DVD are released for The Walking Dead, there will be a little extra footage to that final scene that fans did not get to see on AMC. That is because the dialogue and nature of the scene was just a little too much for the network to allow for air, according to Entertainment Weekly.

This is the part of the article where we need to warn readers that there are some serious SPOILERS ahead. If you do not wish to have The Walking Dead spoiled for you, you should stop reading right now.
For those who are still with us, the extras will have some great footage from Season 6 of The Walking Dead that you have never gotten to see. On top of the extended scene from that finale episode with Negan, there are other scenes that could give a few details away as to what might happen in The Walking Dead Season 7, at least for those who might take the time to put a timeline together, but no promises on that.
Now this is the part that you really want to pay attention to, considering that the Blu-Ray and DVD releases will have different content — specifically, for those who want to see that extended scene in the Season 6 Walking Dead finale. If you have a Blu-Ray player, then you are fine. That’s because the “Episode 616: ‘Last Day on Earth’ — The Extended Version” will be available on Blu-Ray disc only.
Some of you may want to rush out and buy a Blu-Ray player for that, but there is another catch to it. If you want some of the extras from “Inside The Walking Dead,” then you will have to buy the DVD version of the release, because they will not be featured on the Blu-Ray Season 6 of The Walking Dead disc.

We know this can be a little nerve-wracking, but that is the way they are being released. But with so much controversy and hype that has mounted around The Walking Dead Season 6, they are likely looking to sell more and more of these before they cash in on the Season 7 premiere on AMC this fall.
Other extras that will be featured on both versions of the Season 6 Walking Dead home video include Audio Commentaries, Deleted Scenes, The Making of The Walking Dead, In Memoriam, 601: Out of the Quarry, Guts & Glory: The Death of Nicholas, Strength in Bonds, Negan: Someone to Fear and The Face of Death: Iconic Walkers of The Season
There has been no word yet on how many Season 6 deleted scenes and commentaries for The Walking Dead will be included.

But for those fans who want to see who died at the end of Season 6 on The Walking Dead, then you should not hold your breath for this home video release. Even though the Blu-Ray will have the extended scene with Negan, it will not show you who he killed. It will only show you his foul mouth language, which cannot be aired on AMC.
If you want to see who Negan killed in the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead, you will have to tune in this October when Season 7 premieres on AMC.
