Ashton Irwin Declares Singledom, Denies Relationship With Girlfriend Bryana Holly

Ashton Irwin has a habit of denying his relationship with his girlfriend, Bryana Holly, now and then. This time, he declared his singledom on public radio, saying that he does not have a girlfriend, relegating Bryana Holly as a stranger.

“He recently confessed to enjoying the odd ‘swipe’ on dating app Tinder despite seemingly being in a relationship,” reports the Daily Mail. “But 5 Seconds of Summer drummer Ashton Irwin has now confirmed he is single following his split from bikini model Bryana Holly. The 21-year-old told Rove & Sam for breakfast on Hit 104.1 2DayFM on Friday: ‘I don’t have a girlfriend anymore.'”

In fact, he has never explicitly admitted having a girlfriend in the first place. However, he has been seen with Bryana Holly often in Los Angeles, having spent his New Year’s holiday in Bali with her, according to the word on the street.

The last time the 5 Seconds of Summer drummer was seen with Bryana was just a few weeks ago in Paris.

“Ashton Irwin’s model girlfriend Bryana Holly has recently been in Paris as the 5SOS rocker performed with the band,” reports the Daily Mail. “And while all eyes might be on the boys, at the weekend the 22-year-old blonde made sure the spotlight was on her in her latest Instagram snap. The bikini poser showed off her very ample cleavage and contrasting tiny waist in a plunging top and denim cuts-offs in her latest selfie.”

So it seems a little odd that he is declaring that he does not have a girlfriend.

“Radio DJ Sam Frost, 27, asked Ashton how he was coping with his long-distance relationship with Bryana, who is based in California,” reports the Daily Mail. “The Sydney rocker then announced he did not have a girlfriend, despite rumours the on-again off-again couple were back together. But he nonetheless sounded in positive spirits, declaring: ‘I’m on my own. I’m a lone wolf!'”

The last time that he announced he did not have a girlfriend, he was seen hand-in-hand with Bryana just a few weeks later.

“Though rather coy about whether they were dating in the first place, Ashton Irwin announced his break up from model Bryana Holly in early November,” reports the Daily Mail. “But the 5 Seconds Of Summer drummer and the Playboy playmate definitely looked like a couple as they took a hand-in-hand stroll in West Hollywood on Saturday.”

Bryana and Ashton’s relationship was on such a level that she even sent his mother flowers for Mother’s Day this year, which the mother of the 5 Seconds of Summer drummer took to Instagram to show off the “beautiful bunch of flowers for Mother’s Day despite being 12,044 kilometres apart.”

If this breakup is for real, then it’s likely that the distance that separates them was the reason behind pulling the plug. Unlike Arzaylea, Luke Hemmings’ girlfriend, Bryana has not been able to follow Ashton wherever he goes, probably because she had to work to pay the bills.

Maybe the split is the reason why that Bryana’s latest Instagram posts have all been with her friends. While she never took to her social media to show off her relationship with the drummer, turning to one’s friends is a classic move after breaking up.

However, their pattern has been to show up next to each other when they are find themselves on the west coast, so it may be just a matter of time that they are back together.
