‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6: Episode 10 Trailer Teases Flashback To The Red Wedding, Episode Air Time Will Be The Longest Yet [Spoilers]
The most recent episode of Game of Thrones hosted Season 6’s infamous battle scene, something of a custom towards the end of each season. It’s now full steam ahead to Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 10, and the show looks to deal with the repercussions of that battle scene. At the same time, a new teaser trailer released by HBO foreshadows the events set to unfold in the Game of Thrones season finale, including a flashback to the infamous Red Wedding in what will be the show’s longest airing episode to date.
According to the Independent, following the airing of Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 9, HBO released a short teaser trailer for the tenth and final episode of the season. It goes without saying that HBO hasn’t included any of the revealing moments of the season finale in the trailer, but it does paint a clear picture of what’s to come for fans of the show.

Undeniably one of the biggest moments of that trailer is a flash towards the Twins, where Walder Frey is toasting his house’s success in taking Riverrun. However, also present at Riverrun is Jamie Lannister, who appears to be smirking in glee. It’s led some to suggest that Jamie Lannister could be about to serve Walder Frey with his comeuppance and avenge the lives of the Starks killed at the Red Wedding. Exactly why he’d do that remains unclear, but Jamie Lannister has been somewhat unpredictable of late.
Meanwhile, in King’s Landing, Jamie’s sister and lover, Cersei looks to go head to head with the Faith Militant, as she faces her trial. Furthermore, after beating the Boltons in this week’s episode of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow, and Sansa Stark have little time to celebrate their victory. Before he appears to leave Sansa once more to head north, Jon reminds her that they still have “so many enemies,” suggesting that there’s still trouble to come for the Starks, despite being back in their home of Winterfell.

What’s more, the season couldn’t be completed without a final word from Bran, who appears to be having more flashbacks this week, but to exactly what, remains to be seen. At the same time, the teaser trailer confirms that Daenerys Targaryen will feature in the season finale, in order to wrap up her aspect of the storyline for Season 6.
It’s more than fair to say that a lot has changed in the world of Game of Thrones since Season 6 of the hit fantasy drama started over two months ago. With that taken into consideration, the upcoming season finale should give us an idea of what’s to come in the final two seasons of the show. Furthermore, with recent confirmation that the show’s final two seasons will be shorter than previous seasons, fans should expect Game of Thrones to now start heading into its end game.
