Chrissy Teigen’s Baby Instagram Photo Congratulates John Legend, Expresses Happy Father’s Day
Chrissy Teigen’s baby pic on Instagram shows a cute, smiling, cuddly baby girl. The couple’s first child was born this past April, so Chrissy wanted to wish John a happy Father’s Day in his first official year as a father. The couple makes heavy use of social media, especially Instagram, to share their travels, their family life, and their various business ventures. The model and her singer husband have been married since September, 2013.
Teigen posted the photo just after her previous post on a roller coaster at Disneyland. While coasting down Splash Mountain, she discovered that being a new mom has its limitations. She held her chest to protect the baby’s food. The silly photo made headlines, just like most of Chrissy’s social media postings. Chrissy currently has 7.2 million Instagram followers while husband John has only 4 million people waiting for and watching his every move.
They are one of the funnest, happiest celebrity couples on social media, if what they put on social media is to be believed. Before the baby was born, Chrissy shared that she was struggling with infertility. That was obviously a short-lived situation, as it’s now two months after the April 14 birth of Luna Simone Stephens and John is two months deep into fatherhood. Luna was born at six pounds and eleven ounces to the couple. John and Chrissy are seven years apart in age. John is 37-years-old, while Chrissy is young and still in perfect model form at 30-years-old.
The couple dated for four years prior to getting engaged in 2011. They married in 2013 over in the quaint, scenic Lake Como, Italy, a luxury resort area in the north of the European country. Nine years after they first started dating, they now celebrate their first year as parents together. Chrissy Teigen’s baby post on Instagram celebrated the occasion by also making reference to the fact that NBA Finals Game 7 makes it easy to plan what to do, since she knows John will want to watch the game.
Teigen also congratulated John’s own father and wished him a happy Father’s Day. She also thanked his mom for raising such a wonderful son. She mentioned all the ways he cares for little Luna, and how thankful she is. More pictures are likely to come out as the couple celebrates the day and their love for each other.
For all you music fans wondering when John Legend’s next album is coming out, you won’t have to wait too long. Earlier this year, he stated he is hard at work on a new album, and that it should come out later this year. It has already been three years since his previous album, Love in the Future, was released. The new album will be his fifth album. He told MTV where he is currently trying to take his music.
“[I’m] just in the studio working on my album, that’s the main focus, and working with some really talented musicians and hopefully we’ll make something beautiful.”
That statement was made before he officially became a father. It remains to be seen if he can still put out the album this year while caring for Baby Luna in all the ways Chrissy says he is. He’s sure to have less time, but perhaps more inspiration. Maybe touching, heartfelt songs about fatherhood are forthcoming.
Legend told Us Weekly that he has already begun writing fatherhood songs inspired by his and Chrissy Teigen’s baby.
“There’s definitely songs that I’ve written about being a new father and thinking about what that means.”
Besides modelling and having a baby, Chrissy Teigen released her long talked about cookbook this year. Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat is a book that takes inspiration from Chrissy’s multicultural background, especially her Thai mother.
Even though it’s Father’s Day, Chrissy Teigen’s baby photo posts are surely an inspiration to all the mothers and potential mothers who admire and watch her.
