Jaden Smith Tweets About His Support For Orlando Victims, His Album, And (Maybe) His Love Life

Jaden Smith has really been on top of the world lately. He’s embraced gender fluidity to make a mint (his estimated net worth is $8 million without counting his famous mom and dad’s dough); he’s dating a hot (if controversial) model, Sarah Snyder; he’s the unprecedented new face of Louis Vuitton’s woman’s wear line; and he’s pretty much the biggest thing ever on Twitter and Instagram. Now, according to a Jobs & Hire report, Jaden Smith appears to be ready to drop his much-anticipated new album and he’s doing the socially conscious thing by supporting victims of the Orlando Pulse nightclub terror attack, which happened a week ago tomorrow.

All in all, Jaden Smith is just doing all the things he’s loved for and making his loyal, adoring fans proud in the process.

Jaden’s always been a huge supporter of the LGBT community, and for a long time there was speculation that the 17-year-old son of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith might be LGBT himself. So far, though, he’s only been romantically linked to the ladies and his biggest foray in the LGBT community seems to be his fashion. Jaden embraces and flaunts gender fluid attire in a way unlike anyone else in Hollywood. He famously attended prom wearing a dress, and he didn’t apologize.

In fact, Jaden Smith defends his gender fluidity by saying that he doesn’t even see a difference between men’s clothes and women’s clothes. In Jaden’s eyes, the difference is in the minds of people, not the clothes worn by respective genders.

“I feel like people don’t really get it. I’m not saying I get it; I’m just saying I’ve never seen any distinction. I don’t man clothes and woman clothes; I just see scared people and comfortable people.”

Because of Jaden Smith’s open-minded and progressive views, it’s not surprising that Jaden has been retweeting support for the victims of last week’s Orlando massacre, which happened at Pulse, a well-known gay nightclub. Like the rest of the United States and much of the world, Jaden Smith seems to be touched by the incredible tragedy that took place in Florida.

Jaden Smith also retweeted the following words of solidarity.

As well as these no-nonsense words for the haters (because even in the wake of a horrific tragedy, there are people using it to hate on the LGBT community).

While Jaden Smith has definitely been busy in the last few months, with his new Louis Vuitton campaign and starring in an upcoming Netflix series, it appears that the model and actor is trying to take some time to focus on his other love – making music. In the pinned tweet on his well-trafficked Twitter account, Jaden Smith seems to have left himself a little motivational memo. Perhaps to get himself in gear?

His adoring fans are certainly hoping to see a new Jaden Smith album drop soon, and they have responded enthusiastically to the tweet, hoping it means that their long wait is finally over.

Jaden Smith’s somewhat controversial relationship with an older woman has also been in the spotlight quite a bit lately, with rumors swirling that his famous family doesn’t share his love for model Sarah Snyder. (She’s 21, he’s 17). However, it doesn’t seem to be so much the couple’s age difference that is making waves for Jaden, but rather her reputation for being a bit of a troublemaker. Last year, she was arrested, jailed, charged, and acquitted for allegedly stealing a designer handbag worth thousands.

Let’s be clear, Snyder was acquitted of theft, but the scandal tainted her reputation to the point that a lot of the big-name labels reportedly don’t want to be associated with her.

She’s also been featured on social media (YouTube and Twitter) appearing to use illegal/illicit drugs, something that doesn’t reflect well on her, her employers, or her young boyfriend Jaden Smith.

Rumors have been flying around social media that Jaden Smith and Snyder may have gone their separate ways, but if this cryptic tweet means what it seems to mean, Jaden is in it for the long haul.

Whatever happens in his young life, whether he finishes that album and stays with his girl, Jaden Smith will almost certainly use his social media power to stay in the spotlight.
