‘RHONY’ Star Ramona Singer Talks Jules Wainstein’s Shocking Divorce And ‘RHOBH’ Yolanda Hadid’s Exit

Ramona Singer is officially backing Jules Wainstein.

While fans were surprised to learn of Wainstein’s divorce after 8 years of marriage, Singer told E! Online that she is fully supporting her Real Housewives of New York co-star during her time of need.

“I’m very saddened for Jules. I know her heart is broken. It’s never easy when there are problems in a marriage, especially when you realize you need to divorce and I’m there for her,” Singer shared.

Along with Singer’s friendship, Wainstein is leaning on her kids to help her through the split.

“She’s doing as well as she can in the situation and her priority—because she is such a great mother—are her two children,” Singer explained.

Fans weren’t the only ones surprised by the breakup. While the divorce announcement shocked many of The Real Housewives of New York cast members, Singer revealed that Wainstein herself was surprised by the news.

“I think Jules was totally shocked by what happened and was disappointed, and it’s sad,” Singer stated. “It’s just very sad.”

Wainstein is a brand new member of The Real Housewives of New York. Her family has made several appearances on the show.

It hasn’t been revealed why Wainstein and her husband, Michael, decided to end their marriage. It appears, however, Michael is the one who pulled out first.

That being said, People is reporting that Michael may have cheated on Wainstein.

“Jules and her husband have split over his infidelity,” a source told the outlet. “In last night’s episode there were signs.”

Whatever the reasons behind the split, Ramona Singer is firmly backing Wainstein. Despite all the fights that have erupted this season, Singer promised fans that she will not gossip about Wainstein’s divorce.

“I believe in girls’ code. Girls help other girls and I know I’m going to be there so much for her,” she stated. “I’ve already spoken a number of times with her and I plan to meet with her and just be there to support her in any way I can.”

At the same time, Singer also has confidence that Wainstein can recover from the breakup. With the help from all the cast members of RHONY, Singer believes Wainstein will be just fine.

Apart from her comments on Wainstein, Singer also opened up about Yolanda Hadid’s exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“I think Yolanda is a very warm, down-to-earth, wonderful woman. And I think right now she just needs to take a break,” Singer related. “She needs time for herself.”

As fans will recall, Hadid faced multiple hardships during that latest season of RHOBH. Along with fighting off Lyme disease, the reality star went through a heartbreaking divorce.

“She went through a lot of health issues, a lot of relationship issues,” Singer added. “And I think she just wants to spend time with herself and just take care of herself and her family.”

Singer, who has gone through a lot of drama herself over the years, admitted that walking away from the limelight is sometimes the best option.

“I can understand that because the show is — it can be very all-encompassing and overwhelming,” Singer shared.

For her part, Business Standard is reporting that Hadid cited health issues as the main reason for her departure.

“I believe that every exit is a new entry and with that in mind I say goodbye to my @Bravotv Family as I continue to focus on my recovery, my children and bring back the privacy within our Home,” she said in a statement.

The next episode of Real Housewives of New York is set to air Wednesday night on Bravo.
