Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Talking ‘Openly’ About Marriage And A Baby, So What Are They Waiting For?
Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are ready to take the next step in their relationship.
According to Reality TV World, The Voice stars are openly talking about marriage and expanding their family.
“Gwen and Blake talk openly about their future together,” one source close to couple shared. “They say things like, ‘When we get married…’ all the time.”
Although Stefani already has three children – Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo – with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale, she is willing to have more with Shelton.
“[Stefani is] totally smitten and wants to have a baby with Blake,” the insider stated. “Gwen is trying to get pregnant.”
For his part, Shelton can’t wait to start a family of his own. During his last marriage with Miranda Lambert, Shelton wanted to have kids but failed to do so.
“Gwen says she wants to give Blake his own kid,” the insider added. “She wants a girl!”
Of course, before having a baby, Shelton and Stefani will exchange vows.
Unfortunately, the two are currently on tour promoting their new albums. After their summer tours are over, however, Stefani and Shelton’s wedding plans will become a top priority.

“Blake will ask Gwen’s parents’ permission before proposing,” another source stated, adding that the “Misery” singer’s parents “have been supportive of the relationship.”
After Shelton secures permission, he’ll start thinking about how he wants to pop the big question.
“He wants it to be special,” the insider continued. “He’ll do it when she least expects it.”
The news of a future wedding and pregnancy is not all that surprising, especially considering how strong their relationship has grown this year.
During an interview with Us Magazine, Stefani couldn’t help but gush about her hot romance with the country singer.
“I’m our biggest fans,” she shared. “I actually feel like I’m not in my own life, because I’m not. I’m in a different life all of a sudden. I’m so blessed and I feel like I believe in my path. Now there are all these miracles around me!”
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton started dating back in November after going through respective divorces that summer. Ever since then, the two haven’t looked back.
While fans hear wedding bells on the way, Stefani did squash engagement rumors during an interview with The Tommy Show on 94.7 FM.
According to People, Stefani put a brake on the reports of a wedding in the near future.
“Let’s just take it one day at a time,” the pop star replied after being asked about an engagement. “Everything’s crazy right now so no, absolutely not.”
The reports of a wedding are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Stefani’s romance with Shelton. In fact, the two have also been plagued with multiple pregnancy rumors the past few months.
“Can you imagine the amount of gossip-y, weird stories people make up?” she asked. “To me, it makes me laugh every day. I actually do Google my name just so I can see the next one that’s gonna happen, because it’s gotten so out of control.”
Apart from the comedy of it all, Red Book Mag is reporting that Stefani did express some concern over the rampant reports.
“The best part about it is it’s hilarious; the worse part about it is that some people actually believe that stuff like that is what’s funny,” she added.
Considering Stefani’s comments, and the fact that she and Shelton are gearing up for major tours, fans will have to wait a while before they exchange vows.
