Pretty Little Liars Season 7 premieres on Freeform in just three days. What can PLL fans expect from Aria, Hanna, Emily, Spencer, and Alison? Viewers have already heard that it will be the most romantic season, but according to showrunner Marlene King, it will also be the deadliest.
Warning: Pretty Little Liars Season 7 spoilers are ahead.
Pretty Little Liars fans are excited for the series to come back on Freeform. There have been some PLL Season 7 spoilers released, and as the premiere date nears, even more details have been revealed. What is known so far and what did the showrunner have to say?
“This is still the most romantic, but also the deadliest, season of Pretty Little Liars ,” Marlene King told TV Line . “We don’t take deaths lightly here, so everyone who dies does so for a very impactful and important reason.”
Character deaths are not new in Pretty Little Liars . However, things are changing for the episode writers and actors. With most television shows, getting a call that a character will die is sad news for the actor. However, with Season 7 of PLL, the attitudes regarding character deaths have changed.

Of course, Marlene reminds the actors that Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) was dead for three years. These days, the character is alive and a series regular.
Even though the actors are okay with character deaths, fans necessarily won’t be. As previously reported by the Inquisitr , the #SaveHanna trailer revealed that the life of one character is in danger. It is unknown whether Hanna will live or die in Pretty Little Liars Season 7. However, her friends will do whatever it takes to rescue Ashley Benson’s character, which may include murder.
Spoiler TV published the episode titles for the first half of Season 7. The season premiere is called “ Tick Tock, B*****s ” and airs Tuesday evening. King said that the PLL characters are given 24 hours to save Hanna. Whether they succeed or not will determine the rest of Pretty Little Liars Season 7.
“After Hanna’s shocking abduction by ‘Uber A,’ the PLL s and company desperately race against the clock to save one of their own,” according to the Season 7 premiere press release. “The only way to do this is by handing over evidence of Charlotte’s real murderer to ‘Uber A.’ In order to do so, the girls must decide what blatant lines they are willing to cross that they have never breached before; and once they cross that line, there is no turning back.”
In addition to the Pretty Little Liars Season 7 premiere synopsis, a few sneak peek clips and promo videos have been released. In the official trailer for this season, Aria, Spencer, and Emily appear to be digging a hole in the ground. It is assumed that they are burying a body. If this is accurate, who does the body belong to? Did “Uber A” put the Liars up to this or did they kill out of desperation to save Hanna?

The first sneak peek for PLL Season 7 Episode 1 shows Mary Drake coming up to Spencer’s door. Troian Bellisario’s character knows Mary is Jessica DiLaurentis’ sister and invites her inside for tea.
More details are revealed in the second sneak peek , posted on Spoiler TV . The Liars are rushing down the street with Mona, Ezra, Toby, and Caleb. Keegan Allen’s character is going to do something about Hanna’s abduction that could put his job at risk. However, he is willing to do what is necessary to save her. Suddenly, they notice Mary Drake walking down the street, and Aria makes a comment about seeing a ghost. Caleb says Mary was at the Lost Woods Resort that night and will “beat the truth” out of her, but Toby stops him from approaching Alison’s aunt.
The Pretty Little Liars sneak peek also reveals that Mary is the new owner of The Lost Woods Resort. She tells Toby that she wants to file a police report regarding people breaking in. Right on cue, everyone gets a text message from “Uber A.”
The third sneak peek for the PLL Season 7 premiere features Emily Fields and Elliot Rollins. Putting on his best act, Dr. Rollins says Ali’s condition has worsened, and she is “consumed with shame.” Next, Ali struggles to get free from her bed but is unable to due to her wrists and feet being buckled down.
The Australian promo shows bits and pieces from the American sneak peek clips. It also has the Liars looking at their watches as the bell tower rings. Did they miss their deadline? If so, does that mean Hanna is dead or is it another way for “Uber A” to get what they want?
What do you think is going to happen in Pretty Little Liars Season 7? Freeform airs the season premiere on June 21.
