Murder She Baked: A Deadly Recipe Movie Synopsis
Hannah Sweeney is still baking up the goods at her decadent pastry shop The Cookie Jar. But, that doesn’t mean she isn’t still coming across dead bodies and solving crimes. This time, Hannah Sweeney is investigating the murder of a tough no-nonsense sheriff who ends up dead on the street. The matter is complicated even further when it becomes known that Deputy Bill Todd, Hannah’s brother in-law, is the prime suspect and one of Hannah’s delicious fudge cupcakes was found in the dead sheriff’s hand. Deputy Todd has been running against Sheriff Grant for the upcoming election, and with the two running neck and neck in the race, one wonders if someone offed Sheriff Grant to make sure that Deputy Todd will become the new sheriff of Lake Eden, Minnesota. It’s a question that Hannah Sweeney intends to answer in between cooking up tasty treats and sleuthing for clues.
The task won’t be easy for Hannah, especially since she is spending all of her time putting the finishing touches on her soon-to-be released cook book. But, with the police looking at Deputy Bill Todd as a suspect in the murder, Hannah makes it her mission to uncover the town’s secrets and scandals and to prove Todd’s innocence before the police have a chance to build a solid case against him.
