Gretchen Rossi Says Bravo Producers Are Now Editing ‘RHOC: Uncensored’ Due To Lies?
Gretchen Rossi hasn’t been a part of The Real Housewives of Orange County for years, but Rossi decided to come back to film a special uncensored episode that discussed the issues that happened during the show’s eighth season. Rossi came back alongside Lydia McLaughlin, Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, and other housewives from this season. And many of the wives could agree on one thing; they think Gretchen faked the engagement party for Slade Smiley because she wanted to stay on the show. And one producer even noted that it was possibly all for the show, as they remain engaged three years later.
According to a new tweet, Gretchen Rossi is now trying to set the record straight about her engagement party. None of the wives were present during the party, and Rossi has revealed that the producers didn’t want them there. Apparently, Rossi didn’t shut out her Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars. Now, Rossi reveals she has proof of the producers lying, and she has a lawyer on the case. This has resulted in the network changing their story and editing future airings of this episode.
“Why was footage cut from #rhocuncensored The part when u say, the producers didn’t want the ladies at the proposal…who lied?” one person asked Gretchen, who replied with, “They did, they have told me the Network is removing that footage from re-airings because I showed them the emails I had from producers.”
Of course, many people were curious about what Gretchen had to say about this particular season of the show, as she was rumored to be fired from The Real Housewives of Orange County. Rossi never really had a chance to speak her side of the story, as her co-stars were convinced that she had faked the proposal for the sake of staying on the show and doing something drastic to save her role on the show. But knowing that emails exist has caught the attention of fans.
“Gretchen Rossi when will we see the emails?” one person wrote to Rossi, who replied with, “When my lawyer says it’s ok to release which hopefully will be soon” and adding later, “the emails showing they (producers and some cast members) are not telling you (the audience) the truth on the uncensored episode.”
But others thought that Rossi may have been a bit controlling and rude since she decided to come back on the show to share her side of the story. And one person even pointed out the fact that Rossi had saved emails for the past three years.
“Isn’t it weird that Gretchen saved emails from 2013?” one person wrote, to which Gretchen replied, “Didn’t save them, they were just in my archives when I went to look for them to confirm the producers were not being honest with their comments.”
All of this started when Heather Dubrow made some comments on the Real Housewives of Orange County episode about Gretchen’s proposal. And Rossi decided to call her out on social media.
“Why would you lie about me not wanting you guys at the engagement party when I actually forwarded you the email from the producers showing that they made the decision not to have you girls come because it didn’t match their storyline? #notcool I have the response from you saying ‘honey, its a TV show, they need to do what they need to do’ #RHOC #Dontmakemepostthemails,” Gretchen Rossi revealed, sharing that she had the emails and could expose the ladies.
She’s currently working with a lawyer to make that happen.
