‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Brings On Two More Actors For Mystery Roles — One Is A Villain
As big as Captain America: Civil War was with its cast, and with Avengers: Infinity War (working title) boasting an even bigger one, Marvel is going all out with each of its films. Hulk was added to Thor: Ragnarok and the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming just keeps growing. Donald Glover has just been added in a mystery role just a couple of days ago, and now Marvel/Sony has added veteran actors Martin Starr and Logan Marshall-Green.
What roles will they be playing? Why, they will be mystery roles, of course.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Logan Marshall-Green is indeed in talks to join the film, and while his exact role is unknown, there are a few details coming out about it. The word is that he will take on a villain role and he’ll be partnered up with Michael Keaton who is expected to play the part of the Vulture.
Keaton is going to play the main villain in the film, and it is rumored to be that of the Vulture, but not fully confirmed as of yet. Marshall-Green would be working alongside him as a secondary villain of sorts.
Logan Marshall-Green is a veteran actor who has starred in Prometheus, The Invitation, and Dark Blue and was the lead in the TV series Quarry. He’s not the only casting addition to Spider-Man: Homecoming, though, but the second announcement doesn’t have any details as to who he will be in the movie.
It was also announced on Thursday that Martin Starr, standout actor in Silicon Valley, is going to be joining one of Marvel’s next big flicks as reported by Deadline.

Nothing at all is known about Starr’s role in Homecoming, but it will be interesting to see how he fits into things with all the other casting notices as of late,
Spider-Man: Homecoming is really watching its cast grow and grow with each passing week. The addition of Donald Glover has stirred up a lot of talk among the fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) as it wasn’t said what role he would be taking.
Fans are truly hoping that the MCU may delve into the ultimate Marvel universe and look into having Glover play Miles Morales who ends up becoming Spider-Man in the comics.
There is not a lot yet known about Spider-Man: Homecoming including the plot or what exactly is going to happen. It is known that Peter Parker (Tom Holland) is going to learn how to exist in the world of high school and deal with growing up while also being a hero to the city of New York.
It kind of helps that he’s now friends with The Avengers too.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is scheduled for release next summer, and the cast is already simply spectacular. Marisa Tomei is returning as Aunt May while Tony Revolori, Laura Harrier, and Zendaya have all joined the cast. Robert Downey, Jr. will appear as Tony Stark/Iron Man with Michael Keaton essentially set to play the Vulture.
Fans were already excited enough about Spider-Man: Homecoming after Marvel was able to come to a deal with Sony for both studios to work together. These new additions of veteran actors are key indicators that they were working to make this a quality film and give audiences the Spider-Man movie they’ve been wanting for so long. Martin Starr and Logan Marshall-Green are fantastic additions to the cast and prove that this movie is going to be awesome.
