Karrueche Tran Dating Nyle DiMarco After Chris Brown Breakup? Fans Gush Over Model’s Rumored Boyfriend
Karrueche Tran has been outspoken about her desire to remain single after calling it quits from ex-boyfriend Chris Brown last year, but it appears that the model is heating up dating rumors with Dancing With the Stars winner Nyle DiMarco after reportedly getting “cozy” with the fellow model during a recent amfAR charity gala last week.
Karrueche and Nyle ignited romance claims on June 9 after posing for pictures together during the 7th Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala at Skylight at Moynihan Station in NYC, prompting fans to gush over pics of the stunning duo on social media.

The dating rumors further escalated after reports surfaced suggesting that Nyle DiMarco and Karrueche Tran “barely left each other’s side” during the duration of the event, with Mirror UK reporting that Nyle even “wrapped a protective arm around [Karrueche]” while posing for photos later that evening.
While neither Karrueche nor Nyle have spoken out about the dating rumors, Karrueche’s former boyfriend, Chris Brown, seemed to address the romance speculation between the duo after he took to Instagram to diss a fan who suggested that Karrueche’s rumored romance with Nyle is “the biggest upgrade in history” after having previously dated Brown.
In a screengrab obtained by the Shade Room, one fan took to Instagram to share a post featuring a photo of Karrueche and Chris Brown prior to their split in 2015 alongside a series of photos of Karrueche and Nyle at last week’s amfAR Gala event with the caption, “the biggest upgrade in history. went from a -1 to a solid 100.”
In response to the fan’s post, Chris Brown commented with the simple message, “Don’t play yourself posting this.”
While Karrueche made a point not to respond to her ex’s attempted diss, fans continue to speculate over whether or not there may be a budding relationship forming between the two Wilhelmina models.
In May, Nyle DiMarco opened up about his relationship status during an interview with Good Morning America in which he explained that he is “very single” and “just enjoying life right now.”

Similarly, just one month prior, DiMarco revealed to Heavy that while he’s interested in someone who “is able to carry a conversation” and “loves gym, loves the beach, [and] loves the sun,” his busy schedule has prevented him from pursuing a romantic relationship.
“I’m single. Dating is not my priority. I want to focus on my career and my foundation,” Nyle explained, albeit noting that he looks for “someone who is able to carry a conversation. Loves gym. Loves the beach. Loves the sun! And, is very independent.”
Meanwhile, Karrueche previously opened up about her dating life during an interview with Complex‘s Emily Oberg in April, revealing to Oberg that while she’s “100 percent single,” she has “no intention of getting into another relationship” at the moment.
“I am so focused on myself, my work, my family that I don’t even want to bother. I’m good,” Tran explained.
In addition, Karrueche previously shot down rumors of a reconciliation between herself and Chris Brown during an interview with Power 106 in April after an old photo of Karrueche and Chris Brown resurfaced on social media as a result of a gossip blog’s attempt at an April Fool’s Day prank on fans.
“Karrueche, I have a question for you. Many people want to know on social media, we want to know in here as well, I think maybe the industry would like to know: are you back with Chris Brown?” the radio show host asked Karrueche in reference to the April Fool’s Day prank, prompting Tran to make a face before responding with, “No! I am so single. So so so so single.”
