Terri Irwin Reacts To Rumors That She’s Dating Actor Russell Crowe
Terri Irwin is reacting to rumors that she’s dating the still-married actor, Russell Crowe. “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin’s widow learned of a report published by RadarOnline alleging that she’s seeing the famous movie star and wants the truth told.
Steve Irwin, who died at the age of 44 nearly 10 years ago from a stingray barb to his chest, was said to best friends with Crowe. RadarOnline reported this week that Crowe and Terri “can’t fight their feelings any longer” after “several months” of secretly being together. A supposed source told the site that the couple finally decided to go public with their relationship.

The report also adds that Russell Crowe is still legally wed to Danielle Spencer, who’s the mother of his two sons, Charles, 12, and Tennyson, 9. The two have been separated for a while, but the divorce isn’t final.
Gossip Cop reports that a rep for Terri Irwin called urging them to set the record straight on this dating rumor.
The site writes, “A rep for Terri Irwin urged us to ‘correct this,’ and assured Gossip Cop, ‘There is absolutely no truth to these claims.'”
Radar’s report had a lot of quoted sources, which Gossip Cop called “ill-informed” or “made-up quotes.”
Another so-called friend claimed in the report that since Steve was about “promoting Australian family values and healthy living,” he’d be horrified at the thought of his wife having an affair with a married man. The source went on to say that he’d be “rolling over in his grave if he knew Terri was involved with a married man — even one who was his mate.”
The same source said, “Terri and Russell have betrayed his ideals.”
A different insider claimed that Terri wrote online that she was “thinking of” Russell and that he called her “love” in response.
There were also rumors that neighbors near Irwin’s Minima home witnessed Crowe walking around on the balcony half-naked. The report claimed that a source “close to Crowe” said they’re a “perfect match.”

The report continues that Russell Crowe and Terri Irwin have been close for years. Someone described as a family friend in the report said Russell has “made a real effort” to be there for the “Crocodile Hunter’s” widow and her children. He allegedly helped them through their grieving period after Steve died. It was all of this understanding and affection that supposedly laid the groundwork for Terri and Russell to begin dating. The report suggests things heated up for the pair when 17-year-old Bindi Irwin began competing on Dancing with the Stars.
It doesn’t end there. The report stated that Crowe helped Terri and Bindi get agent meetings so their break in show business could take off.
Daily Mail Austrailia also reports that the story of Terri Irwin dating Russell Crowe is “untrue.”
A spokesman for the Australia Zoo said, “Russell Crowe is a long-time friend of the Irwin family and has been for many years, [but] the report that Terri and Russell are romantically linked is simply untrue.”
It was just last November that Terri was romantically linked to Crocodile Dundee star, Paul Hogan. He’d split from his wife, Linda Koslowski, in 2013.
A rep for Terri told Daily Mail Australia at the time that those reports, too, were “completely false.” Moreover, Paul’s management said they’d “never heard such a thing.”
It appears that Terri Irwin is a target for dating rumors with other Australian heartthrobs. The story that she and Russell Crowe are dating is declared completely false.
