Ben Affleck Staying Married To Jennifer Garner To Avoid Paying Wife Millions In Divorce Battle

Ben Affleck is trying to save his marriage with Jennifer Garner after being informed that the actress could potentially walk away with half of his fortune — and that’s excluding the spousal and child support she is also expected to receive on top of that.

According to multiple outlets, Affleck has found himself in a rather twisted situation, for he’ll either let the marriage die out and accept the fact that his relationship with Jennifer can’t be saved, or he gives it one more shot, hoping that Garner is on the same page as him and can overlook some of the recent obstacles their marriage has faced.

As previously reported, Ben allegedly had an affair with the family’s nanny Christine Ouzounian. In fact, according to Daily Mail, Affleck had his secret affair with Christine at the home he shared with Jennifer, consequently leading the 13 Going On 30 actress to file for divorce, leaving fans stunned.

Since filing for divorce last summer, however, Jennifer hasn’t made any moves in furthering the process despite having allegedly been told that, whether she divorces Ben now or in years to come, she is bound to walk away from the marriage with millions — if that’s what she chooses to do.

And if one was to believe reports claiming that Ben Affleck had an affair with the nanny, social media users seem to agree that Jennifer would most likely want to hurt her husband where it hurts the most, which would be his bank account.

Celeb Dirty Laundry reveals that the hunky actor is said to be worth $75 million, meaning that if the couple decides to go ahead with the divorce, considering that there’s no prenuptial agreement in place, Garner could be walking away with at least $30 million. One has to remember that the Hollywood duo has been married since 2005, so with that in mind, Jennifer will be looking at an additional bonus including spousal support amongst other things.

“Now that Jen’s deal is on the table, he’s beginning to realize she’s going to leave him flat broke and there’s nothing he can do about it,” one source revealed, insinuating that before it can even get to that place, Ben will do everything he can to repair his broken marriage with Jennifer.

If the father-of-four is only trying to mend his relationship with his wife over fears that he could lose millions in the divorce battle, it would be a less than smart decision to stay married to Jennifer, because if another nanny-gate scandal was to erupt in years to come, not only would Jen be infuriated, she’d take as much as she possibly can from the man who did her wrong twice.

In an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this year, Jennifer admits that she never wanted to give up on her marriage to Ben Affleck, admitting that loving the actor can be hard at times. She revealed that there are often moments where Ben could make her feel so special before things would suddenly take a dip and it would almost feel like the happiness had been sucked out of their once loving romance.
