Josh Duggar Gets A New Reality TV Show? An Insider Spills The Dirt Behind The Duggar Family Scandal
Josh Duggar has made it no secret that he wants to start a new life–away from his controlling parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar.
Immediately after being released from rehab, Josh decided that he would focus on his family and try to separate himself away from his parents, Christian Post reports. He knew that he needed to do something to secure his future because he can’t continue to depend on his parents to support his family financially. That’s when he decided to try to clean up his image so he could get his own reality show.

That’s when he decided to try to clean up his image so he could get his own reality show. The viewers and Duggar followers cannot help but wonder if Josh is living in la la land thinking that a network would take a risk to put him back on the air.
Even though his reputation took a major hit with the Ashley Madison sex scandal, the buzz on social media is that other networks (not TLC) may be interested in putting him on the air. The whole purpose of the new show is to demonstrate the Duggar fans that despite Josh’s past horrible actions, his stint in rehab helped and he came out a better man for it.
TLC has virtually closed the door to the Duggar family, so there’s little to no hope they would entertain the thought of a show starring Josh, IB Times reports. Jill and Jessa Duggar were not part of Josh’s sex scandal, but they still faced the same consequences. Many fans believe that the whole family should be removed from television.

An inside source claims that the Duggar scandal may be fake. No, not the sex scandal as we all saw play out on LIVE TV, but the talks of Josh being at odds with his family.
“This is a ploy by Josh to get back onto TV. He’s hoping this will show everyone he’s taken real steps to deal with his problems. Josh is realizing that his father, Jim Bob, cannot keep supporting him financially for the rest of his life.”
Even though it may be hard to move on, it seems like Anna and Josh have tried to do so. If not for their own marriage, but for the children involved. Despite everyone around Anna telling her she should leave Josh Duggar, she had faith in him (and in their marriage). They recently released a joint statement about their commitment to improving communication and build trust in their marriage.
“Since the residential treatment program ended, we have been working with a professional marriage and family counselor to take important steps toward healing. It isn’t easy and some days are very difficult. It is a long road to rebuild trust and a truly healthy relationship. As the future unfolds, we are taking one day at a time and we are grateful for your continued prayers for both of us and our sweet children.”
Anna has voiced concerns about how Josh will deal with some of the same temptations that landed him in hot water to begin with not even a year ago. She said they would implement rules for him to reduce the chance of him slipping back into old behavior patterns.
Reportedly, one of the rules was Josh wasn’t “allowed” to have a smart cell phone. He carries the old style, flip phone that doesn’t text and can only make phone calls. Jim Bob Duggar believes that smartphones make it too easy for “the devil to get ahold of you,” delivering you the world wide web at your fingertips.
At this point, there no telling if he will ever appear on reality TV again. The fans genuinely seem to want to see Josh and Anna Duggar move past the sex scandal and find happiness again.
