‘RHONY’ Star Bethenny Frankel Slut-Shames LuAnn De Lesseps, Plus Has She Finally Found A New Man?

Bethenny Frankel refuses to let up in her fight with LuAnn de Lesseps.

In the latest episode of Real Housewives of New York, Frankel confronted de Lesseps about partying and being overly promiscuous. At one point, Frankel even told de Lesseps that she was a slut.

Since their epic tirade, Fashion & Style reports that fans have started taking sides by expressing their support or disapproval of Frankel’s actions.

Frankel took to the defense in reply to one fan who accused her of slut-shaming.

“It’s hypocrisy shaming,” she answered on Twitter. “This has been 8 years, a pirate, an etiquette book, a pedophile comment, lying about biz etc.”

De Lesseps, meanwhile, has also addressed what went down between her and Frankel in her official Bravo blog.

From her perspective, the RHONY star believes that Frankel was out to get her from the start. Not only did de Lesseps accuse Frankel of holding a grudge against her, but she also revealed that the tirade took her by surprise.

“From the get-go, Bethenny decided that I was her prey, and she was going to kill me with words,” de Lesseps wrote. “Obviously, she’s been harboring a lot of anger towards me. I was surprised as I spent a lot of time with her over the summer, and she never shared her feelings with me. In fact, we talked about it at the beginning of the season, and she’s still holding a grudge.”

As far as Frankel is concerned, she also opened up about the incident in The Berkshires. According to Reality Tea, Frankel admitted that she was tired and stressed out from work when she unleashed her wrath on de Lesseps.

“Luann never lets the truth get in the way of a bad story, and I was just set off. It was like I drank truth serum and just decided to rail into her and honestly tell her exactly what I and everyone says about her behind her back.”

Considering their reactions after the fight, it doesn’t appear as though Bethenny Frankel and de Lesseps are ready to make amends anytime soon.

Apart from the ongoing feud with de Lesseps, it now appears as though Frankel might have a new man.

Daily Mail has released photos of Frankel hanging out with Dennis Shields, who heads the board of Esquire Bank in New York.

The two strolled through the city together this past week and were even spotted holding hands at one point.

Frankel sported a bright pair of orange slacks, a white top, and a scarf for the outing, while her new man wore a light blue button-up with black pants.

Although the pair looked like a couple, it isn’t clear if they are dating. Frankel and Shields have been good friends for a long time.

“Bethenny is very much enjoying being single,” a source explained to Page Six. “Her focus is on her business with her daughter.”

For his part, Shields is currently separated from his wife, Jill. It isn’t known if he and Jill have finalized a divorce.

Frankel is in a similar situation with her estranged husband, Jason Hoppy, with whom she has been going through a divorce for the past two years. Despite her ongoing court battle with Hoppy, Frankel revealed that her split doesn’t affect her anymore.

“[Divorce] is sort of like a drop of poison in the ocean,” she stated. “Am I feeling it? No. But it’s there… It’s not that emotionally draining. It does come up at times. You have to really just be very Zen about it.”

Of course, Frankel has vowed to never marry again, even if a billionaire asked her to walk down the aisle.

Fans can watch the drama continue to escalate when The Real Housewives of New York City airs Wednesday nights on Bravo.
