Nyle DiMarco Gets Cozy With Karrueche Tran After Saying He Wants To Star On ‘The Bachelor’
Nyle DiMarco recently said that he would love to look for love on ABC’s The Bachelor, but the Dancing with the Stars winner might not need the reality show’s help to find a special someone. According to a recent report, Nyle was spotted getting pretty cozy with Karrueche Tran at the amfAR charity gala, so naturally there’s already speculation that the deaf model is dating Chris Brown’s ex.
According to the Mirror, Nyle DiMarco and Karrueche Tran were pretty much inseparable Thursday night as they brushed elbows with other celebrities at the 7th Annual amfAR Inspiration Gala in Manhattan. Nyle was photographed placing a “protective” arm around Karrueche, who cut Chris Brown out of her life for good after finding out that the scandal-plagued singer had fathered a secret child with Nia Guzman.
In an Instagram post, Karrueche Tran referred to Nyle DiMarco as one of her two “hot dates” for the gala, the other being Wilhelmina International Inc. CEO Bill Wackermann.
Karrueche and Nyle are both represented by the Wilhelmina modeling agency, so this could be why they spent so much together at the event. However, it’s also possible that they’re mixing business with pleasure.
Nyle DiMarco, the winner of cycle 22 of America’s Next Top Model, significantly raised his profile when he took home the Mirrorball Trophy on Season 22 of Dancing with the Stars. The charismatic model impressed viewers by performing challenging dance routines to music that he couldn’t hear, and he was hailed as an inspiration to the deaf community.

After slaying his rivals on two TV competitions, Nyle is ready to star on a different type of reality show. According to Us Weekly, he’s open to the idea of having twenty-plus singletons compete to win him on the next season of The Bachelor.
“I mean, I don’t know. Let’s see if they reach out to me and see what happens,” Nyle said.
Nyle points out that ABC would have to do things a bit differently if he were cast as The Bachelor, and any potential romantic partners who don’t know American Sign Language would have to get get comfortable getting intimate with Nyle in front of a third wheel; an interpreter would have to accompany them on all of their dates.
“I think it’s funny because it would be kind of awkward to have an interpreter involved during the whole thing,” Nyle said. “[The fantasy suite] would be a triangle.”
Nyle DiMarco’s casting on The Bachelor would also shake things up on the show, because men could be added to the mix of romantic hopefuls. According to Entertainment Tonight, Nyle describes himself as “sexually fluid.”
During his May 25 interview with Us Weekly, Nyle DiMarco said that he was single and too busy for a relationship, so maybe he needs The Bachelor‘s help in finding Mrs. or Mr. Right — or perhaps he’s since decided to make time for Karrueche Tran.
If Nyle and Karrueche are an item, the paparazzi that swarm around celebrity hotspots might confirm their relationship soon enough; Nyle says that his ideal partner loves to go out. He’s also looking for someone who is “independent” and “outgoing.” During an interview with Complex, Karrueche revealed that her ideal guy has to treat her with respect and have a good sense of humor.
Nyle DiMarco would lose a lucrative gig if he turned down The Bachelor to date Karrueche Tran, but it looks like plenty of other opportunities might come along for the male model. He’s done a little acting on Switched at Birth, and Gossip Cop reports that he performed the National Anthem at the NBA Finals on June 10.
