Alicia Silverstone And Liv Tyler Share Their ‘Crazy’ Reunion With Fans

Back in the early 90s, Aerosmith topped the charts with a run of singles from their Get a Grip album and partly responsible for the success of those songs were the corresponding music videos. A few of those videos featured actress Alicia Silverstone, who was rising to fame following such films as The Crush (1993) and Clueless (1995), and one Aerosmith video in particular featured Silverstone partnered up with the daughter of Aerosmith lead singer, Steven Tyler.

In “Crazy,” Alicia and Liv Tyler play two schoolgirls who flee from school grounds and head out for the joyride of a lifetime. Now, 23 years later, Alicia and Liv have reunited to celebrate their “Crazy” days.

Alicia Silverstone And Liv Tyler Go “Crazy” Once Again

Now 39 years old, Alicia reunited with her music video cohort Liv Tyler in the second throwback the actress shared this past week, the first being a nod to her Clueless role, which she presented at the CFDA Awards. For her “Crazy” reunion, however, Alicia shared a picture of herself and Liv Tyler posing in much the same way they appeared in the 1993 Aerosmith music video.

“A lovely reunion last weekend with my girl @misslivalittle,” Silverstone captioned the image, which gives a side by side comparison of herself and Tyler now and 23 years earlier.

Liv Tyler was the first to share the image with her own Instagram followers earlier in the week, following a day which the two “Crazy” stars spent together.

“Look who came to visit today!! The sweet and beautiful @aliciasilverstone Reunited and it feels so good!!!!! 1990’s girls!!!!!” Liv Tyler captioned the image on her own account.

The reunion brought up good 90s memories for both women and, although they seemed to have aged gracefully, if at all, their nostalgia can’t help but to make all of their fans equally reminiscent of days long since past.

“I remember I was in high school when I made it,” Tyler said in an MTV interview for the 20th anniversary of the “Crazy” release. “I would wake up in the morning for school, put on the MTV countdown. And when the video would come on I’d get so embarrassed, that’s when I would get in the shower, I remember that. Wow, that’s a long time ago.”

Liv also commented that she would be up for a new video with Silverstone, though she imagined the plot of the video would tell a different story.

“That would be fun! Me and Alicia walking around, the MILFs or something? With our children running around behind us?”

Alicia Silverstone was the talk of the CFDA Awards with her flashy red dress and the fact that it reminded so many people of Alicia in her Clueless role was just the reaction Silverstone was going for. The actress revealed that she specifically chose the alluring red dress because it reminded her of her former character. In fact, Clueless was actually the last time she wore red, says Silverstone.

“I haven’t worn red in a long time, but red’s fun because it was so iconic with Clueless,” said Alicia. “I don’t think I’ve worn a red dress since then.”

Meanwhile, Liv Tyler is sharing a new look of her own and of a different nature. Ms. Tyler, pregnant with her third child, shared pictures of herself with her growing baby bump and pictures of her other two children, 1-year-old son Sailor and 11-year-old son Milo.

“Deep love, remotes and morning cartoons, Brothers,” Tyler captioned the photo of the two boys.

Liv shared a second photo, this one an image of herself in a black bodysuit with Ballet Beautiful creator Mary Helen Bowers cupping Tyler’s baby bump in her palm.
