Alisan Porter: What’s In Store For The Season 10 Winner Of ‘The Voice’?
Alisan Porter, Season 10 winner of The Voice, has an exciting future ahead of her. What is in store for the Massachusetts native and mother of two? At this stage in the game, no one knows for sure and almost anything can happen.
According to International Business Times, Alisan is in the process of transitioning from stay-at-home mom to working mom. Now, instead of focusing solely on ways to keep her kids busy and her household running smoothly, Porter is learning how to successfully schedule appearances, make time to interact with fans via social media, and much more.

As recently reported by the Inquisitr, the newest winner of The Voice is actually getting “working mom” advice from her former coach and new BFF Christina Aguilera. The two women are apparently getting closer and closer every day. So much so that they recently had a slumber party of sorts at Aguilera’s home.
Alisan referred to the evening as a “fun experience.” They got into their pajamas, threw blankets on the floor, talked about all kinds of cool stuff, and even sang together. Porter recently had this to say, regarding the many times Christina went into “mom mode” on the set of The Voice.
“Her fiancé comes to set all the time and her kids come and she goes right into mom mode. It was just really good to watch that she was incorporating that all into her work life. It’s so cool to see how happy she was to have her kids there and she’ll get right down there on the floor. That’s the kind of mom I am. I’m super hands-on and that was my biggest fear coming in, that I would lose that.”
Alisan Porter is totally ready to spend time in the studio, writing songs for her debut album. Apparently, she’s already started the process of meeting with people who she eventually wants to collaborate with. Some of these people are the talented individuals she met while competing on The Voice.

Porter hopes to work with Sia one day. She feels as though working with such a great performer will be the opportunity of a lifetime. However, there’s no word as to whether or not Alisan has already reached out to the “Cheap Thrills” singer.
The winner of Season 10 of The Voice started entertaining at a very early age. She appeared on Star Search when she was 5 years old. She did so well that she was crowned junior champion. Watch one of her early performances in this video.

Porter’s life hasn’t always been an easy one. She dealt with alcoholism when she was younger and she’s not ashamed to admit it. The good news is she’s been sober for eight years and has no intention of falling back on old habits.
