Vicki Gunvalson Tells Andy Cohen To Bring Gretchen Rossi And Lizzie Rovsek Back On ‘RHOC’
Vicki Gunvalson wants a casting change for The Real Housewives of Orange County. She would like two women who used to star on the show to be back in the opening credits. Surprisingly, one of the women Vicki wants back on the show is an old enemy. On Friday, the reality TV veteran posted a photo of herself hanging out with Gretchen Rossi and Lizzie Rovsek. Also included in the day of fun was new cast member Kelly Dodd.
Vicki declared herself, Kelly, Gretchen, and Lizzie the real dream team and pointed out that there’s no drama when she’s with them. Vicki added that she loves Kelly, Gretchen, and Lizzie and told Real Housewives executive producer Andy Cohen to bring Gretchen and Lizzie back on the show.
Vicki’s photo received a lot of comments. Many of the comments expressed surprise that Vicki was hanging out with Gretchen, whom she frequently battled with during Gretchen’s time on the show. Many people also criticized Vicki for her hashtags, taking them to be a dig at the other women who will be seen in the upcoming season. Besides Vicki and Kelly, Season 11 will star Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, and Meghan King Edmonds. Some people commented that Vicki must really have no friends on the current cast, with the exception of Kelly, if she’s trying to get Gretchen and Lizzie back.
Vicki responded to all of the criticism. She left a comment telling the “mean people” to settle down.
“Impromptu happy hour. Settle down all the mean people.”
Another photo that Vicki posted from the day shows her smiling with Lizzie Rovsek and Gretchen. Vicki wrote that they had good times talking about some of the show’s cast members “and what is truth.” Vicki asked her fans to guess who they think she and the others were gossiping about. Many people guessed that they were gossiping about Tamra.
Gretchen Rossi starred on The Real Housewives of Orange County from the fourth through eighth seasons. During her time on the show, she frequently battled with both Tamra Judge and Vicki Gunvalson. Tamra and Vicki made fun of Gretchen when she first joined the show, taking her relationship with a much older man who was dying of cancer as evidence that she was a gold digger. Later, when Gretchen began a relationship with Slade Smiley, both Tamra and Vicki frequently said that he was a deadbeat dad who was with Gretchen for fame and money. After Gretchen proposed to Slade at the end of Season 8, both Vicki and Tamra accused Gretchen and Slade of faking it just to have a story line for the next season.
Gretchen thanked Lizzie Rovsek and Vicki for inviting her to lunch. It was the first time that she met the newest Orange County housewife, Kelly Dodd. Gretchen described Kelly as a “hoot.” Gretchen further explained on her Instagram photo that she and Vicki made up. Gretchen pointed out that what happened between her and Vicki on the show took place three years ago already and that she decided to forgive and move on from that drama.
While Vicki now has a friendship with Gretchen, it seems that she no longer has one with Tamra. On Thursday, Tamra re-tweeted a viewer’s tweet that stated that Vicki started her “take down Tamra” campaign a long time ago.
Wow @TamraBarney watching old #RHOC episodes. Vicki started her take down Tamra campaign a long time ago!

Tamra replied that Vicki’s campaign is now over.
On Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki’s friendships with the other cast members deteriorated after they began suspecting her of helping her then-boyfriend Brooks Ayers lie about having cancer. Vicki’s insistence all through the season and on the reunion show that she really believed that Brooks had cancer and would never lie about such a thing raised serious doubts among her co-stars.
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Tamra declared in October 2015 that was cutting Vicki out of her life once and for all.
Yet it seemed just last week that Vicki’s friendship with Tamra was back on track. Last week, Vicki posted a photo of herself, with her new boyfriend and daughter, on the way to watch Tamra compete in a fitness competition, an event that was filmed for the new season. Vicki wrote that she was proud of Tamra.
Apparently, the night didn’t end well. All About The Tea reported that Tamra and Vicki got into a heated argument after the competition. According to a source, Tamra brought up the whole cancer drama that happened last season with Brooks. It seems that Tamra was looking for Vicki to apologize for her role in what happened and Vicki wouldn’t claim any responsibility.
Season 11 of The Real Housewives of Orange County starring Vicki Gunvalson, Tamra Judge, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Meghan King Edmonds, and Kelly Dodd premieres on Bravo on Monday, June 20, at 9/8c. The preview for the season shows that viewers will see Tamra, Heather, and Shannon telling Vicki to own up to what she did.
