Ellen Degeneres Divorce: Portia de Rossi To Leave Wife If She Doesn’t Agree To Pregnancy Baby Plans?

Ellen Degeneres is finding herself in endless divorce rumors once again. This time, however, reports allege that the talk show host’s wife, Portia de Rossi, is desperate to have a child, and if her wishes are not granted, she is threatening to walk out on her longtime partner.

According to In Touch, Portia has been wanting to start a family with Ellen for as long as she can remember, but the 58-year-old seems to have made it perfectly clear that she doesn’t want to deal with the hassle of raising a baby at her age.

Degeneres loves children, but even on her show, she has stressed that she could never see herself raising an infant — it’s too much hassle and too much work; as if her daytime talk-show wasn’t enough for the aging comedienne to handle, a baby would make matters much worse.

But sources say that Portia de Rossi sees things differently. She has reportedly had endless conversations with her wife, trying to convince her that welcoming a baby to the world is exactly what the twosome need — after all, being together in their multi-million dollar mansion can still get lonely.

Portia seems to hint at the fact that she wants a baby to complete the family she has so desperately wanted ever since she married Degeneres in 2008, and since Ellen is totally against the idea, several reports believe that the couple could potentially divorce over their disagreement.

“Portia has always dreamed of becoming a mother and desperately wants to try to carry the child herself. But Ellen is absolutely opposed to it. Portia first brought up the topic in an attempt to save their crumbling eight-year marriage. But all it’s done is tear the couple further apart,” a source gushed.

What’s worse is that Ellen Degeneres’ friends and family are concerned that the baby drama that is causing arguments in their house will soon see the duo separate. There’s only so much that Portia can take before she decides to move on, especially since numerous reports are claiming that she is completely serious when she says she wants a baby.

“No matter how many times they talk about it, they just can’t seem to come to an agreement. Everyone is worried they will split up over this,” the insider concludes, making it known that if Ellen Degeneres and Portia cannot come to an agreement, fans shouldn’t be shocked to hear that the couple is divorcing.

News of Portia’s desire for a baby comes just days after she and Ellen (ironically) attended the premiere of one of the most-anticipated family films this year, Finding Dory. Degeneres carries the lead role in the movie, which is already predicted to bring in more than $500 million in less than a month.

Yet as far as their baby plans are concerned, Ellen Degeneres doesn’t seem to be on the same page as her wife, who has reportedly tried everything in order to convince the talk-show host to start a family with her — nothing has worked.

But what do you make of this? Should Portia be forcing Ellen in having a baby when she clearly doesn’t want one? Or do you agree with the idea that the actress should simply divorce her wife and find someone who does want to start a family with her? That sounds more reasonable, don’t you think?
