‘Love & Hip Hop Houston’ On Hold After Fight Turns Violent, Guns Drawn During Jhonni Blaze Scuffle — Crew Member Reportedly Injured
Love & Hip Hop Houston might be over before it started. The Jasmine Brand reported that production has been halted after an altercation turned really violent. Jhonni Blaze was allegedly involved in the incident that shut down taping of the newest VH1 reality show on her birthday.
Little is currently known about exactly how a skirmish between Jhonni Blaze and another girl turned into a scary incident where guns were reportedly drawn. The Jasmine Brand reported that Jhonni was in a club and camera crews were present when a fight broke out between herself and another woman who has not been identified. The argument between the Love & Hip Hop Houston star and an unknown woman was caught on video and it looks like things were pretty heated.

A man who goes by “Dead End Redd” posted a video on Instagram about the violent night. Check out what he had to say about what went down with Jhonni Blaze and the LHH camera crews on Friday night in the video below, but beware, it is full of adult language. In it, the poster criticizes the VH1 reality show for coming to Texas and bringing the drama like all the other cities where the Love & Hip Hop franchise is filmed. According to “Dead End Redd,” Texas is “trill” and you can’t just “bring it” without being ready.
It sounds like somebody didn’t like being on the losing end of an altercation and rather than walk away, guns were drawn on some of the reality stars and camera crew who were present. The drama all went down on Jhonni Blaze’s birthday, and we can only assume that filming was going on in a club while Jhonni and others were trying to celebrate. Hip Hip Overload reported that filming for Love & Hip Hop Houston is postponed until Mona Scott-Young and those behind production can make sure that their camera crews, staff, and the reality stars themselves can be assured that they are not putting themselves in harm’s way. Does this mean that after all the hype about the VH1 reality show’s new location, it might not even finish the first season?

The Inquisitr recently reported that Love & Hip Hop Houston was actually happening and would be on TV before the end of the year. Filming for the newest city in the VH1 reality show franchise reportedly started last week. The cast was said to include LHHNY veteran Jhonni Blaze as well as Mehgan Ellis from Basketball Wives LA and Bad Girls Club along with Kirko Bangz, The Charlo Twins, J. Prince Jr., The Sauce Twins, Just Brittany, Lil Keith, DJ Eric, and Propain.
With production on the popular reality show halted, fans are wondering if Love & Hip Hop Houston is even going to happen. Filming reportedly just started a week ago with plans to air the premiere season before the end of the year. Now that VH1 is dealing with major violence, possibly involving guns, they may rethink plans to even air the show.
