Kit Harington Shaved And Everyone’s Panicking
Kit Harington has shaved his iconic beard and became the butt of jokes from social media users, according to Time. The 29-year-old Game of Thrones star has made one of the most controversial moves in terms of his style, and the reaction from his fans has been rather mixed.

Some fans of Kit Harington claim that the beard-less actor, who plays the recently revived Jon Snow on Game of Thrones, is as cute as ever. Others, meanwhile, don’t agree and say that the actor looks too boyish and unattractive.
But it’s not like Kit Harington made such a personal grooming move because he wanted to. It was for the actor’s role in a play titled Doctor Faustus on London’s West End. But Game of Thrones fans are more concerned about the actor’s long locks, which have always served as a source of spoilers and clues about the fate of his Game of Thrones character.

But his newly shaved beard can easily grow back before filming for Game of Thrones’ seventh season begins later this year.
It was noted by E! Online that Kit Harington looks unrecognizable without his beard. The actor’s fans even compare him to Heath Ledger’s brooding bad boy persona in the ’90s as well as Brandon Lee in The Crow.

In other news, Kit Harington has recently complained that men are victims of sexism in Hollywood, according to Quartz. The Game of Thrones actor isn’t happy about sexism towards women, but he admits that there is also sexism against men.
In his recent interview with the Sunday Times, Kit Harington has spoken out about sexism and double standards in Hollywood.
“I think there is a double standard. If you said to a girl, ‘Do you like being called a babe?’ and she said, ‘No, not really,’ she’d be absolutely right.”
Kit Harington added that he likes to think of himself as more than just a set of looks in Hollywood because otherwise it would be “demeaning.” The actor then went on to admit that he landed many roles thanks to his looks, but that’s because “there’s a sexism that happens towards men.”
However, Kit Harington doesn’t argue that there is obvious sexism towards women but adds that men are victims of sexism as well. It’s not the first time the Game of Thrones star has spoken out about sexism in Hollywood.

Just last year, in his interview with Page Six, Kit Harington admitted that his acting skills are often “put to one side” by his sex appeal.
Kit Harington has been starring on Game of Thrones, one of the most sexist shows of our time, as critics say, since its pilot episode in 2011. Over the past five years since Game of Thrones’ premiere, the world has seen the rise of feminism.
Game of Thrones has always been criticized for its objectification of female bodies as well as brutal rape scenes. Last season, the show was widely criticized by feminist critics for the scene in which Sansa Stark was sexually assaulted.
Even though it took Kit Harington so long to realize the scale of sexism in Hollywood, it’s better late than never.
The Independent reported that Patricia Clarkson, an actress known for her minor role in the Tom Hanks film The Green Mile and not a lot since then, perhaps confirmed Kit Harrington’s point in a recent interview, when she argued that white male actors don’t have the right to complain about anything in the film industry.
“He’s a sex symbol. Get over it. You have an amazing career and you’re on a hot show. Take your shirt off.”
