Prince Harry And Ellie Goulding Dating? Rumors Fly After Couple Spotted Kissing, Relationship May Date Back Months

Prince Harry and Ellie Goulding may be Britain’s newest power couple, with rumors that the two have been carrying on a secret relationship that potentially dates back months.

The rumors were sparked after the two participated in the Audi Polo challenge this weekend, with sources telling British newspapers that they were “all over each other” at an after party. The Daily Mail reported on the rumor but claimed there is no photographic evidence of Prince Harry and Ellie Goulding together, as photography was strictly banned from the event in the name of privacy.

A source told The Sun that with no prying eyes, Prince Harry and the pop singer were getting very close.

“[Harry and Ellie] were part of a wider group including Tom Hardy but Harry and Ellie only had eyes for each other all night—they spent a lot of time sitting together under blankets,” the source said (via Vanity Fair).

“They were seen having a kiss before Harry had to go because he was playing polo the next day. Ellie left about five minutes later,” the source added.

The Telegraph noted that the relationship between Prince Harry and Ellie Goulding may date back quite a bit longer. The couple was first linked in 2011, when Goulding performed at the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. It was actually Prince William who recommended her for the gig after seeing Ellie perform and meeting her at a concert in 2010.

There were no reports that the two had any romantic involvement at the time, but they crossed paths a number of other times including a different charity Polo event a few weeks after the royal wedding.

The two appeared to have a budding friendship, and in 2012 Goulding defended Prince Harry after he was photographed having a nude romp at a boys’ weekend in Las Vegas.

“He’s young and he has fun just like all of us. And he should be allowed privacy and I think that was unfair,” she said (via the Telegraph)

“I hung out with him and he’s a really nice guy. He takes his charity work really seriously and he takes his role really seriously as a prince, so it annoyed me a little bit that there was so much weird exposure about it.

“I don’t think he needs to apologize at all; not a chance. It shouldn’t have been published the way it was. And also, who took the picture? Who ever that was — bad friend,” she added.

The rumors of a potential romance between Prince Harry and Ellie Goulding really got rolling in 2014, when they were seen backstage at the Invictus Games closing ceremonies getting very close.

Though there is no solid backing to the rumors of a new romance, there is at least some photographic evidence that the two were together this weekend, Vanity Fair added.

“There is one picture on the wire of the two of them from the event, in which Goulding is seen holding a bouquet of flowers (we’re surprised the tabloids haven’t described them as a “LOVE OFFERING FROM HARRY”), in front of the polo-player lineup. Harry can be seen grinning, as if exuding some sort of cinnamon-scented love beam in her direction.”

For their parts, neither Prince Harry nor Ellie Goulding have addressed the rumors that they may be in a relationship. And just days before the reports that he was seen kissing Goulding, Prince Harry was romantically linked to Olivia Tallent, the daughter of E Street Band bassist, Garry Tallent. Olivia denied the rumors.
