‘The Walking Dead’ Season 7 Spoilers: Glenn Is The One Killed By Negan, Reports From Show’s Set Claim
The Walking Dead has fans on edge waiting to find out who the victim of Negan’s wrath is — and his barb-wire-covered baseball bat — and new spoilers indicate that it’s fan-favorite Glenn who will meet his end in Season 7.
Fans of the show were put to the test last season, first with a weeks-long cliffhanger early on after it appeared that Glenn was torn apart by a horde of walkers. Viewers saw the pack circle in around Glenn and Nicholas, making it seem as if both were killed. It took weeks — and plenty of false leads — for them to find out that Glenn had actually survived.
Now, the season has ended with another cliffhanger. The final minutes of the season finale saw the long-awaited arrival of Negan, who had captured Glenn, Daryl, and the rest of the crew and was preparing to kill one of them with his baseball bat, which he nicknamed Lucille.
The scene ended from the perspective of the person being beaten to death, whose identity was never revealed to viewers. Fans of The Walking Dead graphic novel series know that it’s Glenn who was killed by Negan, but The Walking Dead television show has been known to deviate from the comic.
That may not be the case this time. There have been spoilers for The Walking Dead indicating that Glenn may have indeed been the one killed, including a recent tip from Celeb Dirty Laundry.
“‘The Walking Dead’ spoilers for season 7 center on who got Lucilled, but sightings from the set indicate Glenn (Steven Yeun) is the confirmed LV (Lucille Victim) – plus the news of Ezekiel, King of the Kingdom, casting has now been debunked. Here’s the TWD Season 7 hot news we know.
“While the other potential victims of Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and his brutal bat Lucille have been seen out and about in Atlanta shooting scenes for Season 7 Episode 2, 3 and beyond, Steven Yeun is nowhere in sight.
“Steven has been busy on Twitter retweeting ‘The Walking Dead’ posts and giving props to TWD cast members, but this seems to be red herring activity. He posted a recent video on Facebook that hints Steven may be in South Korea filming Okja, a Plan B (i.e. Brad Pitt produced) film.”
The report noted that both Michael Cudlitz and Norman Reedus have been seen working on set, ruling out their characters, Abraham and Daryl, as likely victims.
That could be a bit of a shift from the potential spoilers surrounding The Walking Dead last year, when there were widespread rumors that Daryl may actually be killed. During Season 6, AMC announced that Reedus would be moving into a new reality show called Ride with Norman Reedus. In the show, he would ride to various locations around the country, stopping at shops and tattoo parlors along the way.

Cinema Blend writer Conner Schwerdtfeger wrote that the new show could point to a departure for Reedus and a death for the fan-favorite Daryl.
“Fans love the actor and character so much that they have even at times threatened to riot of the show ever killed him off. However, premiering a show that headlines Reedus completely separate from The Walking Dead makes one wonder if the network may finally be working up the courage to take Dixon out of the equation. Having Reedus in a new series could serve to ease the blow on those who tune in weekly to specifically see his character.”
Viewers who want to find out if The Walking Dead spoilers indicating that Glenn was killed will come true will have quite a while to wait. There’s still about four months left until the show returns for Season 7, and that’s assuming the victim is revealed right away. As viewers learned last year with the “Is Glenn dead or not?” drama, The Walking Dead showrunners have no problem dragging things out.
