Chris Soules Regrets Whitney Bischoff Split? ‘The Bachelor’ Jealous Of Ex-Fiance’s New Boyfriend?

Chris Soules is still missing Whitney Bischoff a year after they called off their engagement. Although The Bachelor alum has clearly moved on, it seems like Prince Farming is still pining for her attention. Could the two eventually get back together?

In an interview with Life & Style magazine, Chris Soules admitted that he misses Whitney Bischoff. Contrary to early reports, he insisted that there is no bad blood between them, adding that the break up was a mutual decision. Soules also shared that they have kept in touch and stayed friends after the split.

“I miss her. I just care about her. She’s a great person.”

Chris and Whitney “mutually and amicably” decided to end their engagement two months after The Bachelor finale. In their official statement, they held that they had nothing but respect and admiration for one another. They also thanked The Bachelor fans for their support in their relationship.

According to People, there were quite a few telltale signs that Chris and Whitney is facing an inevitable breakup. His father, for one, only encouraged him to choose Whitney for she was a “sure thing.” After meeting his family for the first time, they immediately fell in love with her.

“Hearing my dad say that he thought Whitney was the sure thing – but that Becca was who I wanted – was hard to watch,” Chris said.

In the end, his decision came down to logic. Chris Soules admitted that he fell in love with Whitney Bischoff and Becca Tilley at the same time but ended up choosing the former because of how committed she was to the relationship. Soules added that Bischoff understood what life was back in the farm, how it was not always luxurious and comfortable all the time.

While he loved Bischoff’s driven nature, Soules admitted that he was looking for someone who would always put her family first. Back then, The Bachelor star had been very vocal about his desire to settle down and start a family. Bischoff, on the other hand, was quite willing to leave her life behind and move to Arlington. It seems, however, that she soon changed her mind and wanted to stay in the city.

“I don’t think you can put a time limit on something like that. I don’t think it can be forced. There can’t be any pressure with it. When we feel it, it will happen,” she shared.

In spite of their differences, Chris Soules shared that it was not at all easy moving on from Whitney Bischoff. Speaking to Reality TV World, he shared that there was a time when he thought he will never find someone to share his life with.

“There was a time for a while when I was not really even ready to think about dating.”

While he still misses Whitney, Chris said that he is more than ready to give dating another chance. He added that he has met quite a lot of cool women but no one has caught his attention just yet. The former reality star also explained that, because of his busy schedule, he did not really have the luxury of time to go on dates whenever he pleases. Nonetheless, he is still making the conscious effort to do so.

“Dating in real life right now is my priority, along with everything else in my life. There’s things happening but nothing serious, you know? Just conversations, and I’m working on that part of my life. I’m being patient.”
