Justin Bieber Follows Selena Gomez On Instagram Again: Jelena Fans’ Best Reactions
Justin Bieber just flipped the “on” switch to reboot the off-again-on-again romance that he has sustained with Selena Gomez — at least in the eyes of some Jelena (Justin+Selena) fans. Delighting those who haven’t given up hope that Justin and Selena will rekindle their romance, the Biebs once again followed the “Same Old Love” singer on Instagram, reported Us Weekly.
Bieber had unfollowed his girlfriend in November 2014. Now that he’s back to tracking her on Instagram, Twitter exploded with excitement from Jelena Beliebers.
Some focused on sharing the news.
“Justin Bieber recently followed Selena on Instagram,” tweeted one happy Jelena fan.
Others hoped that Gomez would reciprocate.
“Waiting for Selena to log on to Instagram and follow Justin back but knowing [her] she probably won’t,” mused another Belieber.
This isn’t the first time that those addicted to following Justin and Selena’s relationship ups-and-downs have become hopeful this year. In March, the “Sorry” singer shared a throwback picture showing him locking lips with Gomez. She then viewed the photo and commented “Perfect.”
A short time later, Selena showed up at Justin’s concert in Los Angeles, causing even more excitement at the potential of a real-life reunion. But despite the delight among Jelena fans, the romance between the two singers has been less evident since 2014.
The two began their roller coaster relationship in 2011. Last November, Bieber talked about his view that because they were so close from 2011 to 2014, their love will always linger.
“I’m proud of the woman she is today,” emphasized Justin. “When you love someone that much, even if something comes between you, it’s a love that never really dies.”
And for those who vicariously enjoyed that romance, the hope for a rekindled love remains despite the fact that both Bieber and Gomez have been spotted with others on a variety of dates. Bieber was reported to be dating Hailey Baldwin and Kourtney Kardashian, while Selena was linked to Niall Horan, DJ Zedd, and Charlie Puth.
But it only took the news that Justin had followed Gomez again on Instagram to cause social media to explode. Some fans just couldn’t resist gushing.

“Can Justin and Selena hang out again they’re the cutest,” exclaimed one Jelena fan. “I love them as friends relaxing and not caring about the public.”
When it comes to dreams, there were those who confessed that seeing Bieber, 22, and Gomez, 23, together again ranked as number one.
“There’s no one I want together more than Justin and Selena,” admitted one such follower.
And then there were the fans who had predictions.

But does anyone know the real reason that Bieber decided to follow his ex-girlfriend on Instagram again? An insider told Hollywood Life that Justin has been thinking about Selena recently, and that motivated him to make the move.
The Biebs apparently hoped that he could send a secret message to his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend by using Instagram, explained the insider.
“Following her on Instagram again is his way of letting her know that he’s thinking about her. She’s definitely been on his mind a lot.”
But amid all the romance and roses views, some fans added a humorous dimension to the news that Bieber had followed Gomez on Instagram again, pointed out Capital FM.
“I bet Justin was just tired of stalking Selena’s page 6 times a day and figured he might as well follow her,” joked one witty follower.
“Can you imagine if someone makes a poster with “follow Justin back on IG” and takes it to the revival tour and Selena scrunches it up,” commented another person.
And there were a few skeptics in the crowd.
“It’s so obvious Justin and Selena use their relationship for promo it became embarrassing,” contended another commentator.
