Killing Mommy Movie Plot
Eve Hansen has had a difficult life. Just four years earlier, she had to deal with the death of her husband, who died tragically. It was tough on her two twin daughters, Juliana and Deborah. Now, four years later, Eve seems to be getting her life on track and has met a new man who she plans to wed. What Eve did not take into consideration was how much marrying someone else would impact their worlds. Juliana, the popular one, has always had a good head on her shoulders and loves living the rich life, unlike Deb, the problem child, who is constantly acting out by drinking and hooking up with shady friends.

The screw-up of the family, Deb, can’t keep herself from getting arrested, and the relationship between Deb and her mother is becoming even more strained. Eve has had her hands full since she sold her home and has moved into her boyfriend’s condo, a move that enrages her daughters.
Now, a series of bizarre misfortunes keep happening, making Eve believe that Deb is behind it. Soon, it comes to light that Juliana is disguising herself to look like Deb and could possibly be planning to get rid of her mother and sister to have the trust fund that her daddy left her all to herself.
Could There Be A True Story Connection To Lifetime TV’s Killing Mommy?
We don’t know for sure, but it most certainly could have been inspired by the following true stories.
Tasmanian Devils–Jasmiyah And Tasmiya
- Who hasn’t heard of the story of Jasmiyah and Tasmiyah Whitehead, two twins who killed their mother, Nikki Whitehead, after she uprooted them from their former life with their grandmother to a more strict life with her new boyfriend? In that case, the twins, who had a violent relationship with their mother and often threatened her, flipped their tops and created a bloodbath when she announced that she was moving into her boyfriend’s home and bringing them along.
Did Rich Teen’s Trust Fund Make Her Kill Socialite Mommy?
- There is also the case of Heather Mack, a 19-year-old Chicago teen whose mother, Sheila von Wiese-Mack, was found murdered in Bali. Sheila and Heather were supposed to get their mother-daughter relationship back on track during the lavish Indonesian vacation. However, when Heather Mack’s boyfriend, Tommy Schaefer, came along, the vacation erupted into violence, leaving Heather’s mother dead and her body packed in a suitcase. Authorities say, Heather Mack was convinced that her mother was trying to steal the trust fund money, which had been left to her by her father, who had died from an illness.
Lifetime’s Killing Mommy (Deadly Daughters), is produced by NB Thrilling Film 7 and distributed by Reel One Entertainment. Filmed in Canada, the movie feature is executive produced by Tom Berry, Neil Bregman, and Pierre David with music by Richard Bowers.
