‘Dance Moms’ Season 6 Cast, Spoilers: JoJo Siwa Misses Another Competition, Most Followed ALDC Member After Alum Chloe Lukasiak
Dance Moms elite competition dancer JoJo Siwa is reportedly leaving the show after Season 6, following Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler’s footsteps. While the duo was still part of the Abby Lee Miller Dance Company (ALDC), they decided to exit the hit Lifetime reality series to pursue other opportunities. Will Jojo, along with mom Jessalyn Siwa, follow suit?
According to International Business Times, speculation of JoJo Siwa leaving ALDC and Dance Moms circulated online when the 13-year-old missed another competition over the weekend. The spoiler site revealed that only Kalani Hilliker, Kendall Vertes, Brynn Rumfallo, and Nia Frazier competed in the Sheer Talent competition in Spokane, Washington last June 4. The elite group performed a contemporary dance routine called “Picnic,” and they ended up placing second in the Teen Division. The competition is set to air on episode 29 of Dance Moms Season 6.
Fueling rumors of Siwa’s departure, Jill Vertes, Kendall K’s mom, posted a photo of the ALDC’s dressing room, with the intriguing caption, “… and there were 4!”
Dance Moms fans immediately came to the conclusion that another dancer left the series, pointing out that Vertes’ caption says it all. Several predicted that it was JoJo who left this time around. They were clearly disappointed, thinking that ALDC will not be the same without the bubbly dancer.
This time around, JoJo Siwa did not miss the competition because she was on vacation. Based on her recent Instagram posts, the reality star was actually part of a charity event. Over the weekend, she walked the runway at the Ladylike Foundation’s 2016 Women of Excellence Luncheon in Beverly Hills, California. Other celebrities who graced the catwalk to help raise money for scholarships were Mel B, Keke Palmer, and Dance Moms alum Asia Monet Ray.
Dance Moms fans also pointed out that Siwa was also part of the As Seen on YouTube tour with Rebecca Zamolo, Matt Slays, and Joshua Evans. They held that the young dancer had a lot of other things on her plate other than starring on the reality series.
As The Inquisitr previously reported, Abby Lee Miller dissed JoJo Siwa for missing a competition during the Memorial Day weekend. Siwa was a no-show at the Fierce National Dance Competition in Calabasas, California, after Miller gave her a part in the contemporary ballet duet, alongside Kendall Vertes. Even without Siwa, ALDC still won first place overall as Kalani Hilliker stepped up and took her place.
JoJo took Abby’s shade in stride with another post. She captioned it, “Who is having a good holiday weekend #peaceouthaterz #Siwanatorz.”
With all of the many opportunities coming her way and her ongoing beef with Abby Lee Miller, will JoJo Siwa return as a series regular on Dance Moms Season 6? Or will she follow Maddie Ziegler and Chloe Lukasiak‘s footsteps and move on?
Apart from starring on the hit Lifetime reality series, Siwa also has quite a successful YouTube channel. At the time of writing, she has over 620,000 subscribers, which is more than Ziegler and Vertes’ channel subscriber count combined. Lukasiak, however, has still the most YouTube subscribers at one million. Fellow Dance Moms alum Paige Hyland has over 500,000 subscribers. They all post similar content: vlogs, make up, and dance tutorials, as well as Q&A videos.
Back in March, JoJo Siwa told Pop Crush that she would be launching her first hair accessories collection with Claire’s later this year.
“I remember shopping there when I was little so it’s really cool to see my bows in store. It’s awesome,” Siwa recounted.
