Is ‘Teen Mom 2’ Miranda Simms ‘Grateful’ Season 7 Is Coming To A Close?
Miranda Simms shared a revealing message with Teen Mom 2 fans on Sunday. Less than 24 hours before the Season 7 finale of Teen Mom 2 is scheduled to air on MTV, Miranda has reposted a message she previously posted on Instagram to her fans and followers on Twitter. The reposted message was that of a single word, “grateful.” Is Miranda Simms grateful Season 7 of Teen Mom 2 is coming to a close? EnStarz questions whether Miranda and Corey Sims will be returning to Teen Mom 2 after Miranda reposted this message suggesting she was grateful Season 7 is coming to a close.
Miranda Simms and her husband Corey not being in Season 8 of Teen Mom 2 may not be as much of a shock to fans of the show, as Radar Online has already reported the couple would be getting less time on screen during Season 7. According to Radar Online, a feud between Miranda, Corey, and the MTV producers is the reason viewers have not seen much of the couple during Season 7.
In Season 6, Miranda and Corey Simms were frequently shown onscreen fighting with Leah Messer. The couple were shown calling Messer a bad mother and a drug abuser.
“Corey feels MTV did him dirty.”
A friend of Corey’s from West Virginia explained to Radar Online. The friend went on to talk about how Simms felt the producers let Leah off way too easily for her pill-popping habit.
“He thinks they had the perfect opportunity to show viewers, ‘This is what happens when you get on drugs, this is the reality.’ Instead, they made it seem like Corey was constantly attacking Leah for no reason.”
Teen Mom 2 fans had to be oblivious to think Leah was not doing some sort of drugs, as she was caught on camera slurring her words as well as falling asleep while holding her infant niece in her arms. According to the friend of Simms, the scenes of Leah’s bizarre behavior that made it into the episodes of Teen Mom 2 were just the “tip of the iceberg” when it came to her alleged drug using problems.
Upset by the way Season 6 turned out, Miranda and Corey made the decision to film less regularly for Season 7. Radar Online reported that MTV producers understood why Miranda and Corey came to this decision.
EnStarz reported Miranda and her husband Corey Simms also opted out of attending the Season 7 reunion of Teen Mom 2, which could be just another sign the couple may walk away from the show completely after the Season 7 finale tonight.

Despite the two agreeing with producers to film fewer scenes for Season 7, it did not stop Miranda or Corey from being the target of several different rumors. Just recently, Miranda was accused of neglecting Ali by forcing her to carry a backpack that contained more weight than Ali should carry on her own. Both Miranda and Corey refuted these rumors and believed the claim, made by Ali, stemmed from a place of jealousy as Ali was now forced to share Miranda and Corey with her twin sister and baby Remi.
Inquisitr also reported that Miranda and Corey Simms had also become the victims of divorce rumors recently. Someone had actually gone so far as to make a Facebook profile claiming to be Corey, and posting statuses which suggested he and Miranda were ending their marriage. Miranda Simms responded, confirming that it was, indeed, a fake profile. She confirmed that while she did have a Facebook profile, it was set to “private” for her friends and family members only.
