‘Bachelorette’ Contestant James Taylor: How Far Does James Make It With JoJo Fletcher?
The Bachelorette contestant James Taylor is one of the sweetest guys on JoJo’s season. From the song he performed when he met JoJo on the season premiere to the adorable letter he penned, and read aloud, on the second episode, the 29-year-old Texas native continues to impress JoJo as the season progresses.
Although the Bustle states that James and his “big heart” is exactly what JoJo needs, is the fact that she’s busy defending this season’s bad boys, including Chad Johnson, a clue that she may not keep James around for long?

According to Reality Steve, James grew up in Katy, Texas and graduated from Harding University in 2010. He currently lives in Marietta, Georgia where he works as a sales rep for ABC Home & Commercial Service, but his real passion is music.
Billed as a “singer-song writer” on his ABC bio, James, who is 6’2? and towers over JoJo, has several videos posted of his music on his Instagram account, including a clip from the song he played for JoJo on night one.
“Guys rarely end up being the Prince Charming every girl grows up believing in and hoping for – and sadly they say goodbye to the dream they should never have to,” James captions his video.
Last week, JoJo noted in her People blog that James was a “total sweetheart” and she totally understood why ESPN’s Max and Marcellus placed him at the top of the power rankings on the group date.
The date is a nice break from all of the craziness going on in the Bachelor mansion, especially with the drama going on with Chad Johnson. E! reports that during the date, JoJo admits that she “can’t stop smiling” on what turns out to be the season’s most adorable date — especially because James does such a great job after admitting he’s not a good dancer.
Spoilers indicate that James gets a rose at the end of the date and continues on to Episode 4 that airs on Tuesday, June 7. He won’t score another one-on-one date on the next episode, but he will be part of the group date that features 10 of his cast mates and NFL stars Ben Roethlisberger, Hines Ward, and Brett Keisel at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
The roses keep coming for James, who may not be as much of a frontrunner as Jordan Rodgers, but JoJo is definitely attracted to his down-to-earth attitude and endearing personality. He makes it through the Episode 4 rose ceremony and travels with the remaining guys to the first overseas location of the season.
Spoilers point to James being picked to go on yet another group date when the guys arrive in Punta Del Este, Uruguay (Episode 5). Although Reality Steve isn’t sure who gets the group date rose, James isn’t eliminated at the rose ceremony, making him safe for another week.
JoJo’s final eight guys head to Buenos Aries, Argentina on Episode 6 and spoilers indicate James will get another one-one-one date with JoJo that ends with a rose.

Unfortunately James’ next stop, Mendoza, Argentina, is his last. Spoilers point to JoJo sending James home just one episode before hometown dates. However, there’s a chance that fans may see him on TV again very soon.
Not only will he appear on the Men Tell All special in July, there is speculation that he may be one of the guys who will join Chad — who is currently filming in Mexico — on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.
