Jennie Garth, Luke Perry: Reps Deny Dating Rumors

Sorry, original 90210 fans. Representatives for Luke Perry deny that he is dating former Beverly Hills co-star Jennie Garth following her split from husband and Twilight alumnus Peter Facinelli.

Following Garth’s March split from husband of 11 years Facinelli, reports said that she had turned to Perry for support. Perry split from Minnie Sharp in 2003, and the two former co-stars apparently reconnected on the set of an Old Navy commercial. One supposed “insider” told the National Enquirer that this “friend-in-need” moment actually turned romantic:

“Since seeing Luke again, Jennie has fallen in love with him and Luke feels the same … There is an electricity between them that has been revived after all these years. It just happened.”

Now, the media clean-up. A source close to Garth told Us Weekly that dating rumors are simply not true and that the two are just close friends. Furthermore, a rep for Perry told GossipCop early Thursday that the dating rumors were false.

Multiple sources confirmed to Us Weekly in mid-August that 40-year-old Garth has actually been romantically linked to photographer Nah Abrams following her split from Facinelli. The two were spotted walking hand-in-hand in LA on August 14.

Since the split from Facinelli, Garth has been committed to moving on with her life. She enjoyed a “flirty dinner” in May with HGTV star Antonio Bellatore in Las Vegas, and a friend told the magazine “She’s happier than ever!”
