Kim Kardashian Shares Her $1,200 Beauty Routine, Insists Fans Download A Private Jet App That’s ‘Changed My Traveling Life!’ [Video]
Kim Kardashian shared her morning beauty routine over Snapchat, and it seems simple enough to recreate — if you happen to have over $1,200 to invest! According to Kardashian, she relies on beauty brand La Mer for most of her morning routine, although she does seem to sneak a couple drugstore products in for good measure.
Kim insisted that the Snapchat series wasn’t a paid endorsement, she simply loves the products that help her skin stay healthy. Kim Kardashian shared that she uses La Mer’s Perfecting Treatment, which costs $240 for a 1.7 ounce supply; The Concentrate, which will run you $440 for 1.7 ounces; The Renewal Oil, which is $240 for one ounce; and Crème de la Mer, which costs $310 for two ounces, for a grand total of $1,230!

According to La Mer, the beauty products Kim Kardashian uses are so expensive because their proprietary “miracle broth,” which can be found in their creams, can help renew your skin, and will “make skin look virtually ageless.” The other products reduce redness and irritation, soften lines and wrinkles, and boost collagen in your skin, while the algae-infused treatment improves skin texture. With a face that’s photographed endlessly, it’s easy to see why Kim insists on using the uber-expensive skin care line!
But Kim also mentioned that she uses Kiko’s Scrub & Peel wipes, which are about $12, and after she cries, she depends on Neutrogena’s Night Calming Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes, which are only around $10! For her foundation, Kim has admitted that she uses Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation and Maybelline’s Fit Me Matte + Poreless Foundation. Each sells for about $8 at drugstores.
On her app, Kim confessed that she uses the “luminous” foundation to achieve a fresh, dewy look to her skin, advising fans that “[a]ll you need to get the look is the right luminous foundation.”

Kardashian shares her beauty secrets regularly over social media, and even shared a time lapse video of the two-hour beauty routine she sits through every morning. According to Kardashian, she doesn’t mind the hours it takes to get her best face forward, since she uses the time to catch up on work emails!
While Kim insists she wasn’t paid to endorse the La Mer products, the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star has been accused of promoting another luxury product that’s completely out of touch with her audience. Over Snapchat, Kim told fans that she’s “obsessed” with an app called Jetsmarter, which helps users travel easier and faster by making it simpler to find private jets!
Advising fans that they should download the Jetsmarter app, Kardashian confessed she’s “a member and it has changed my traveling life!” While Kim didn’t reveal if she was paid to endorse the app, fans mocked her online for sharing it, slamming the reality star for being “not relatable.”

“Yeah cos I can afford a private jet,” one fan commented, while another shamed Kim simply with “[s]till haven’t told me who the target market for this is… Single moms???? With millions???” While it’s well-known that Kim Kardashian and the rest of her circle makes a ton of money from product endorsements, one fan summed up the failed Jetsmarter promotion with “[g]irl. No.”
But it’s not just product endorsements Kim relies on to amass her $55 million fortune, and her game “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” has brought in an estimated $157 million since its launch in 2014 — although it’s not clear how much of that $157 million Kim Kardashian herself gets.
According to Inc., Kim is very hands on with the game, and approves every visual, character, and story line, while insisting “new additions to the family,” such as the birth of Saint, be added as well to ensure authenticity.
“So much of this game — from the outfits to hairstyles to accessories — are all inspired by looks that I love and hand selected,” Kim Kardashian said when her game was launched, adding that the producers “were able to record and include so much of my natural commentary throughout the gameplay.”
