Tyga Insists King Cairo Gets ‘King’s Ransom’ For ‘Rob & Chyna’ Appearances And It’s Likely Because Of ‘Cash Money’ [Video]
Tyga is putting his foot down and demanding his son, King Cairo, get paid five figures for any appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians or any new shows featuring mother Blac Chyna and future stepfather Rob Kardashian! According to insiders, Tyga believes King Cairo is now a household name, like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s daughter, North, and the toddler should be paid handsomely for making appearances on reality television.
Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian announced recently that they’re getting their own six-part series on the E! network that will follow them as they await the birth of their baby and plan their wedding. “Very few love stories have created as much pop culture buzz as Rob and Chyna’s, and we are thrilled to see Rob in such a happy place,” said Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President, Original Programming & Development at the E! network told Hollywood Life about the series, adding they’re “excited to share the next chapter in their relationship.”

According to insiders, they’re getting paid seven figures to appear on the series, called Rob & Chyna, and experts predict they’ll score another seven figures from the exclusive first photos of their first child together.
But Rob & Chyna leaves some big questions, namely whether the son Tyga shares with Chyna will appear on the reality show and get money for it. While Rob and Chyna “spent almost two hours meeting with reality show producers in a Beverly Hills office” meeting with Ryan Seacrest’s production team, there’s been no word about whether Tyga’s son will receive a salary.

Thanks to Blac Chyna’s surging popularity, Tyga believes everyone knows who King Cairo is and wants the adorable 3-year-old to get a “king’s ransom” for any TV appearances. Sources close to the rapper reveal that Tyga is just looking out for his only son, confirming that “[i]f Blac thinks she’s putting King on her little docuseries with Rob she’s sadly mistaken. Tyga’s put his foot down and is telling Blac, King isn’t doing the show, unless the little guy gets a king’s ransom.”
Tyga is definitely making sure King Cairo gets paid, adding that if he’s “going to be in front of any cameras than the little man should be compensated at least 5-figures.” While Tyga has his own fair share of financial issues, according to Hollywood Life, T-Raww is totally fine sharing control of the payments with Chyna, but is “adamant that his son be paid for appearances.”

Tyga probably is just looking out for King, since the rapper has a history of not getting paid for his own work. In 2013, Tyga went public with the news that he was never paid royalty checks by Cash Money, and with those memories fresh in his mind, Tyga probably just wants to make sure his son sees a payday for his growing popularity.
In his latest song, “Cash Money,” Tyga confirmed he never got royalty checks for his past music. In the single, Tyga raps “[c]ause I’m paid cash money / Cash Money never paid me, but your boy did his thing and still made cash money,” reiterating his 2013 confession on The Breakfast Club that he “never got a check from Young Money or Cash Money.”
“I’ve always treated my career as independent and everything that I’ve got is because of myself, my own endorsements,” Tyga added at the time, giving fans some insight into why he might be so insistent his son gets money for appearing on Rob & Chyna.
What do you think? Is Tyga right to ask that King Cairo get a “king’s ransom” for being on Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian’s new series? Leave a comment below!
